Lotto Max (Canada) Odds
I see there are repeat balls across lines. Through a Google search I saw an image of a printed ticket where 3 numbers from the first line were repeated on one of the two computer generated lines. So it appears all lines are sampled independently from the full pool of lotto balls. That being the case, the posted odds for Lotto Max on Canadian provincial/regional lotto sites are wrong because they assume adding the probabilities from each line. For that to be valid, each set of possible combinatio

What tool will compute all 3,4,5 digit combinatons with repeats of a pool of 100 numbers
Thank you for replying. The first set has 45 numbers 0-9. I want to create all of the possible 3, 4, and 5 digit combinations from that pool of 45 numbers. Duplicates, after computing can be removed

How to simulate a distribution and use the lottery's own randomness against itself.
the keno games we are aware of so far are 10/20/70, 10/20/80 and 10/22/80. where XX/YY/ZZ is Play/Pick/Pool.

Ok so say I have 40 numbers set as 4 lines of 10...
I want to know how many sets of 8 numbers I can get from these 40 numbers. There are 76,904,685 possible combinations of 8 in a pool of 40 numbers.

Neural Net Lottery Picker
Of course, nothing wrong with it and I really appreciate the efforts and work put in it by stoopendaal and the fact he has shared it with us. It's to be expected that NN will not beat the lottery odds as we would like it to be. It would be nice to see it however. It's a smart funny way to play lotteries. Some people may hit a nice prize from time to time, but the same thing might be said about the random.org number generator which is said to be pretty good as they can only be. The odds

Neural Net Lottery Picker
What I think would be helpful is a wheel with 6 key numbers of a pool of 20 odd ones. Do not know if such a beast exists. Adam

Power Mega Balls with Three Sum Math
testing is underway for a sums function that can handle a pool size 1 to 99 and a pick size 1 to 99. we were able to compress 1,078,336,239,053,809,219,328,449,283,217,656,191,958,500,366,020,094,576,880,090,461,469,964,452,641,827,581,764,055 possible computations down to about 172,000.

Mathematics and the Lottery
I am currently using a method that I developed using certain time frames on the calendar to detect patterns . I have found that to accurately guess at least 3 numbers right on the WA state lotto, that I have to review the numbers chosen and find where certain numbers are drawn together using a calendar. It usually works and I usually have at least 5, if not all the numbers chosen within my lotto picks. The only problem is to combine them accurately enough to score a big win. I also believe that

Nonlinear regression to predict lotteries
Hi RJOh, My standard method of playing is to use nonlinear regression to predict numbers. I choose 15n and use a conditional wheel to get my lines which I filter with usual filters as sums, AC, Last digits, Decades. I am let with about 10 lines. I won many prices, like 2/5, 3/5 or 4/5. The fifth number is always difficult to get. Last weeks, I was working with WinHunter to find numbers to eliminate and didn't played. On the 26 aug 2014, when I checked my method, I saw that I
