Oregon Lucky-Lines
For those of you who are not familiar with Lucky-Lines. This is a fun game that pays a minimum of $10,000 if all 8 numbers were guessed right. If there are no winners, the price increases by $1,000 per day and had reached as much as $84,000 last January 2017. Minor prices start from $2 with the 2 numbers right, up to $500 with the 6 numbers right in correct positions. So, in some ways, the game pays off better than Pick-4 (with a limited price of $5,000). We need to correctly predict what number

When is there a positive expectation for playing Mega Millions?
It would probably take a syndicate to cover the cost of play, but I believe using several 15 lines using all 75 numbers with each group of the 15 lines using all 15 bonus numbers, could show profitable results. If such a feat could be done, it could be simulated on paper or in a computer program and I haven't been able to do either. Such a scheme might be possible with one of the games with a better overall payout average like Lucky for Life or Texas's AON which according to its webpage has

Mathematics and the Lottery
I'll explain what I did, why not. That's the information criterion formula. I simply put 1000 for the amount of numbers that can be picked. And 30 for the amount of balls that are used. Simple. I also sometimes just add the results, (166), and see if there's a pattern. I believe that math can always show you the number no matter what or when. But the problem for me is it's a lot of time spent doing all that math for each draw. Sometimes it gets boring. Got lucky with this one. 403 worked out gre

When is there a positive expectation for playing Mega Millions?
Last night I played 10 line of Lucky for LIfe which I posted on the prediction board which paid $24, a profit of $4. That was the first profit I've made in a long time playing the lottery even though I'm still showing a profit over the long run. I'm starting to believe the only way to have a positive EV on any lottery game is to play only those games with smaller jackpots with a better than average10% play out. When I play MegaMillions while I usually play all 15 megaballs I seldom managed to

Pick-3 Box or Straight ??
If we bet a buck straight on the same three digit number and it's drawn twice in 1000 drawings, we clobbered the odds but break even. And it really doesn't matter how much we bet. I suppose someone could use a betting strategy that increases the size of the bet after every loss, but will be lucky to get even money. The two LP pick-3 top predictors got less than even money by betting less that $700. Does is really make sense to bet $700 to win $700 when the odds are 1000 to 1 against them?

I need help with odds calculations
True but since the winning combinations only have 5 of the 69 numbers pool and 1 of the 26 bonus numbers pool players are constantly trying to win and reduce their cost by reducing the number pools, it called wheeling. As demonstrated by the participants in the Maddog's challenges, they are usually lucky to cover enough of the winning numbers to have even a small win.

What do you use for statistical analysis?
I have been using the test draws for the powerball.. and breaking the numbers down by draw machine and ball set... so far I have done this by hand.. does anybody know a way I can do this with software.. the other website I used is THE LUCKY GENE ... good website.. good software wheels.. but does not analyze the test draw data so I am stuck here now... All you would need to beat scratchoffs is to know the number of tickets sold
A few years ago I read about a guy who sued the Illinois lottery because he read that a number of major prizes in a scratch-off games weren't payout out yet and he brought as many of the unsold scratch-offs as he could find figuring he couldn't lose money but he did and was pissed. I never read how his case turned out but I suspect he lost again because he wasn't the first player to figure out how to beat the lottery that came up short. As the saying goes figures don't lie but liars and fools fi

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Back in February I came close to matching 6/6 when I matched 5/6 using a similar strategy with 10 lines, I guess I got lucky. I don't really track these numbers, I wrote a program that uses my regular data files to count and record which numbers followed which number and the trends at the time. Then looking at the trends and numbers in the last drawing I pick combinations with numbers in those positions following the most likely trend. I got the idea after seeing a graph jadelottery posted in
