Megaball prediction
The only way that conjecture makes sense is if you had hypothesized that particular ball X would occur 26 or more times before seeing the 322 draw results. As far as I can tell, you didn't, it was after seeing the data. Now trying applying the conjecture about ball X to the next 322 draws, as it only matters what happens in the future. You might get extremely lucky and it'll happen again, i.e. 1 in about 1550 chance. I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

Powerball Powerplay - Is it worth wagering it?
If I really thought it was my lucky day and I was gonna have 5 numbers right, I would spend $2 more and get another ticket with a different PB number. Still get $2 mil for 5 numbers but have another shot at the big pot. To answer the question- no, I think the Powerplay is a waste of money.

Chi-Squared Goodness of Fit Test for Lotteries
Yeah, that's what I am finding too. Hardly any information that can be used to improve estimation. However, I did find a little something (maybe), emphasis on little. Using Bayesean optimal estimation with 1st and 2nd order statistics, I did find one method with the following white ball [0W 1W 2W 3W 4W 5W] performance for Powerball new white balls. Percent Total Matches = [59.064327 33.918129 5.263158 1.754386 0.000000 0.000000], NumTests = 171 Expected Percent Matches for Powerball

Neural Net Lottery Picker
That sounds interesting: I have been doing some research.. and of course and former mathmetician I did notice the Vtrac system if you don't mind crunching a zilion numbers.. does work.. and have an unlimited budget.. :) last night .. after coming up with PB numbers using an old system been around forever.. adding previous number to current number and so forth, I realized that the Vtrac system is actually a math problem .. which could be turned into a Calculus problem.. since it assigns number gr

Shuffling and Mixing
Lotto ball machines work well to randomize ball picks because of their mixing properties. A closely related problem is how many shuffles are sufficient to randomize a deck of cards. The following curve is pulled from an AMS (American Mathematic Society) post on this topic. A link to the post is given below. https://www.ams.org/publicoutreach/feature-column/fcarc-shuffle d is a measure of how close the pdf (probability distribution function) of the card ordering is from uni

Craps Pass Line With Odds Bet - Casino Advantage
Hey Orange, thought you would find this nformative and interesting on the craps green felt jungle, Las Vegas where the dice never stops rolling Page 1 (jpg) Barstow s Controversial Theories on Craps Casino games of so-called independent trials such as craps, baccarat and single-zero roulette, can be beaten long range, as well as short range. This statement is predicated not only on personal experience and observation, but also on one highly unorthodox theory. I believe that, notwithst

DNA Lottery
Suppose you're a juror on a homicide case. There's really no tangible evidence of any connection between the victim and the defendant other than a DNA match. Suppose the law enforcement investigators did a nationwide DNA database search and matched the defendant, and the prosecutor brought the case stating that there's a 1 in 10 million random probability of a match based on the specific DNA markers. Nobody else in the DNA dragnet was a match. Would you convict the defendant? Perhaps there a
