Approximating chaotic systems
I only recently started reading about PRNGs. I was surprised to learn that some PRNGs that are considered cryptographically secure aren't one large cycle in state space, but instead have some short cycles. That indicated to me that if the PRNG was seeded to start in those short cycles, the PRNG wouldn't be random enough. I'm aware of some satisfiability modulo theory libraries used to solve for the seed given PRNG output. But in those cases, you know the PRNG because it's in the code, and th

Chi-Squared Goodness of Fit Test for Lotteries
Texas helps to keep the Powerball and Mega Millions honest by publishing the lotto draw results going back to 2015 or so. That eases independent analysis by the public. They preserve pick order, which is important for analysis. The Arizona Lotto also stinks when it comes to publishing draw results. The Science Of Pick Patterns
The registrant that owns pickpatterns.com also owns floozymail.com (from Boston, Massachusetts) and is somehow part of abynex.com (from Scottsdale, Arizona). It is SOOOooo easy to track PUBLIC website information. The pickpatterns website google bar on the right hand side generates links to sites in the Grand Caymans, Middle East, Asia, and everywhere else in the world, including Mr. Scottsdale Arizona, above. I don't know if pickpatterns picks those sites or google just jams them in there f

What do you use for statistical analysis?
Hello Arizona Dream: These some of your last comments about Neural Net Lottery Picker : I had another P3 win last night (on paper only). P4 isn't producing results. I've had one 3/5 and multiple 2/5 hits (again just on paper) on LD lotto. I had my 2nd Pick 3 win (on paper) yesterday. I've also had multiple 2/5 wins of LD lotto 62% prize ratio on all games, 96% on P3 alone, not beating the house advantage, but pretty darn interesting My question is: With so man
