I would like this hex translated to text, I tried, but can't, need to identify the words and maybe individual letters also and their meanings, I downloaded a hex translator program, but could not translate the text right. Is it encoded or encrypted ? Or what ? Or it might need to be translated in some other way.

What kind of hexadecimal language is this ? Can it be decoded or translated to words and or letters ?

Here is the stuff: Every line is individual, that is it says something on itself, it is the games or states list of a program, each line is the list of 1 state plus Day or Evening or something like that and some just the state, for example:

Arizona, Texas, (some state's name) Day, (some state's name) Evening.

A computer programmer might know how to do it. Thank you for any help, this is needed to add more new states to the games' database and also to add the day or noon draw to Texas.

This is a list of the states and their draws ( Day, Evening, or just the name of the state) there could be other characters besides the name of the states and Day or Evening.

I don't see the first three letters of ALABAMA in your block of codes.  ALA is 414C41 in hex.  I used the

following site to translate between HEX and ASCII.

You need to check the program that was designed to use the file because there probably some formatting data in there also.

Everything I have indicates this is the hex form of a gif File (named a.gif)

You may want to recheck the data file or at least tell us (pm is fine) what the program is that uses this data.

Thank you everybody, no big deal, the programmer was very tricky, I was not able to do it either, but is O.K. I am very tricky also, back when he made the program Texas had only a night draw, so I have used one of the 2 Canada databases for the Texas pick 3 day draw, I can't change it's name to Texas day, but no matter, the program was made so a person could not add new states or new pick 3 history databases, but using then Canada pick 3 database works O.K. to completely replace those old draws with the Texas's pick 3 day draws was very tricky, but I got it done some of the safe guards could be bypassed.

For some reason the programmer didn't want people to add new results databases to the program and also he didn't want the old draws on the databases completely replaced as I did.

Again thank you all very very much. I got my Texas draws in there and the program works O.K. now and that is the main thing. Now I can keep on trying to break the Texas pick 3 same as always.

Yes, that is no regular hex, but I already knew that, it's O.K.

The names of the pick 3 states is there, there is no question about that, but in what or which form, only the programmer would know and as it was said there might also be formatting, as to it being the hex of a .gif file I don't know about that, but it could also be possible in some way and yet the states' names is there somehow in some way and form.

It will remain an unknown, but will not keep me from using the program as I want. It's an old pick 3 program, no longer being developed.

            Bye.
