Hollywood Park - Exactas & Trifectas
Good point, paymenow...some of the best races to make money on is when the morning line odds favorite is listed at 4-1 or higher in a big field.

IL Hawthorne racing meet-Exactas
Sorry to keep posting, but the way I'm going to play it at the track on Sat. is to jot down the combos with probable payoffs of $50 or more at the beginning of the probable payoffs monitoring, not at the end. That way we can take advantage of an exacta underlay that has a good chance with some money being bet on it, and it won't be a $10.00 payoff. Make sense? From my experience underlays win 2/3 of the time and overlays 1/3. I wouldn't want to base my betting strategy on underlays but sometim

roulette
Greetings BBH, You have posed an interesting circumstance worth exploriing being conversant with the game of roulette I humbly hope I can make a candid contribution to this otherwise lonely thread LOL If the true odds and payoffs are as you suggested, the house edge for the lottery is stupendous ranging from about 10% to 67%. Not even the worse slot machines have a house edge more than about 40%, so an argument could even be made that you are probably better off playing the slots than play

Newbie ? about the roulette wheel
Kim,I used to be a roulette junkie when I first started going to casinos years ago. I'm certainly not an expert on the game, but I think I can answer your questions.Yes, you can bet either red or black on the outside. If you bet on red, you will win even money if any red number comes up; you will lose if any black number, green zero, or green double zero comes up. If you bet on black, you will win even money if any black number comes up; you will lose if any red number, green zero, or green doub

I Am a Millionaire Now!!
Life is good! I was just notified via E-Mail from Great Britain that I have won 800,809.00 British Pounds, or US $1,509,053.44 at todays exchange rate. I am so happy, that I don't know what to do. Not bad for an Immigrant who was a victim of World War 2. Persecuted by the Commies and Natzies. When I came to this country in May of 1950 my dad, mother, and I had $3 in our pockets. Now I am a millionaire. Next month my bride of 50 years and I will be celebrating our Golden wedding anniversary. We w

That's OK....I'm a Professional Gambler
During the Great Depression, there was a man who walked into a bar one day. He went up to the bartender and said, Bartender, I'd like to buy the house a round of drinks. The bartender said, That's fine, but we're in the middle of the Depression, so I'll need to see some money first. The guy pulled out a huge wad of bills and set them on the bar. The bartender can't believe what he's seeing. Where did you get all that money? asked the bartender. I'm a professional gambler, replied the ma
