ZEN, in english grammar I know what open closed sentences are. A closed sentence is one that is always true. For example: Three is an odd number. An open sentence can be true or false. For example: Y is a negative number. It depends on the value that we give to Y. Also a set of #s can be closed under any of the operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. I know your fear all to well. My niece had brain cancer at 2 years old. By the greatness of the doctors in columbia pres, she lived until 45 , she just passed away after getting yearly brain operations since two years old to change the plate in her head. Every time her hair finally grew it was time to put in a new plate. My heart aches for you for sure!! I will keep you in my prayers .

Dont know what happened , got shut down for a second as I was writing a reply. I was saying congrats LB and sorry to hear it was your leg you had been in the hospital for. I went through 6 operations to get my leg back to being able to walk on it after 2 years almost to the day. It was shattered in aug of 03. I hope your doing better and no more hospital stays.
