See all these illegal online betting operations being shut down, kind of sudden and plentiful huh? You think that Maybe States like NY have realized they are losing possibly millions a month to online gambling operations? Or is it just a coincidence?

osmannica2001, I was surprised to see you write that floating point operations are quicker than integer operations. In my programming experience I have never seen that. A computer does not see a big number like 1000 (or 1,000,000,000) as more difficult or time-consuming to process than a fractional number like 0.054. In fact, the opposite is generally true, and it's due to the fact that CPUs are built for integer operations at their core.

The tribes owning casino operations in NM don't allow lottery tickets to be sold anywhere on the Rez. They get the educational benefits from lottery ticket sales without having to put up with some of the gambling dollars going directly to the tribe being filtered off into the lottery. I'd guess the casino tribes are generally opposed to lotteries, same as horserace operations are opposed to tribal casino operations. There are only so many gambling dollars to go around.Jack
