Take5 NY
Ask via an email to The NYS Lottery how often they change ballsets. They'll probably tell you. Even if they wont, players can get a Freedom of Information Act or FOIL and make them give it to you. G5
Florida is Ok, but it's very hot this time of year. I do miss The Fall change of colors. Aint no such thing as that in Fla. We moved from Northern Dutchess (about 10 miles north of Poughkeepsie on Route 9) and I do miss it a little. Lotta friends and family still there, and in East Fishkill too

Here's my scientific wild guess as to what we'll see as a big FF5 jackpot payout after March 20th -
$300,000 take per drawing. That translates into $150,000 allocated to the winning prize pool. 62% of $150,000 is $93,000 (before taxes)
So jackpot payouts will be about $85,000 to $93,000 before taxes and that's if nobody else matched 5 numbers. After a pari-mutuel split and taxes taken out, a players check for a jackpot win could easily be $15,000 to $25,000. Great. Just great. Gone are t

One thing about JPT and it's 2 million dollar jackpots and The Cash Option.....
The Annuity Option is as follows, 25 annual payments for JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY to receive 2 million dollars before taxes.
Jackpot Triple Play winners who want to receive a single cash payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days after the draw date . Applicable federal income tax withholding will be deducted at the time payments are made for the cash option.
If you take The Cash Option, obvious

NJ Pick 5
i hope they change the 4 out of 5 payoff to $500. It's a pain that you owe taxes on $600 or more.
If I'm going to pay taxes, I'd rather pay on several million, not several hundred

Winning at NY Take 5
The numbers were especially lousy last nite. They had a group didtribution of 4-0-1 (based upon 3 groups of 13 each). On average, that distribution appears only once every 62 days because the coverage is less than 1%. (9,295 possible combo's are in that distribution out of a total pool of 575,757 possible combo's of 5 numbers.)
Yet there were three winners with only ONE being a QP.
Lately the JP payouts have been awful. Last nite 3 people each won $26,893 before taxes. If you look at the N
