Playing FF5 these days is almost pointless. There have been a total of 148 drawings (both midday and evening) since the midday drawings began. 60 of them (40.5%) were rolldowns. (No jackpot winner) The average total jackpot for all 74 evening drawings is $137,965. Many of those drawings saw multiple winners. With the addition of the midday drawing in March of last year (and I still say that was a whopper of a mistake on the part of The Florida Lottery. They certainly did NOT do players any favors) there are now 60 to 62 drawings per month. (As opposed to 30 to 31 in the good old days.) That's why all 36 FF5 numbers are usually drawn every month.
