Not for nuthin', but the addition of the midday drawing has changed the characteristics of FF5 with regard to the number of times a hot number hits. I made an Excel spreadsheet for FF5 that goes back to 2002. It shows the number of hits that the hottest number of each year had which fall into a range of 61 to 68. By June 30th of any given year I could easily see which number was going to end the year as the hottest number because it had 31 to 34 hits on June 30th. So I'd give extra play to t

Not that this would make an ounce of difference to The Florida Lottery but 26 out of the 52 midday drawings that have been held did not have a jackpot winner. 50% of all midday drawings saw the top tier prize be rolled down to the lower tier winners. Did they NOT see this coming? There's a reason why only half of the midday drawings have produced a jackpot winner. That reason is called poor coverage . Not enough tickets were sold in each one of those 26 drawings to cover enough combinations

The Florida Lottery is concerned about only one thing - and that's the daily take . Every day Fantasy5 ticket sales brings in about $500,000 to $600,000. That's the total take . Somebody won the JPT jackpot of $1.45 million last night. I checked its Top Prize report to see where the winning ticket was sold but the report had not been updated yet. BUT!!! Above I wrote what you will most likely see happen is an increase in the number of Free Tickets that you win ....... I couldn't blame someone if their reaction to that statement is Big deal. I wanna win a jackpot not a crummy Free Ticket because that's sometimes how I feel when I win a Free Ticket. Not that anybody cares, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on playing PowerBall. I don't play the game very often because the odds are ridiculous. Here's something interesting, and it's tempting for me to say Buy your FF5 tickets at Publix , but I know why what I'm about to type is true. I searched The Top Prize Report for Publix and found 2,244 occurrences of it. (Includes Publix Liquor stores too) I then searched it for Winn Dixie and found only 377 occurrences. I am totally impressed by your daughter! How inspiring are her her friend? I'm teaching pre-K this year and have 2 students that desperately need speech therapy. This morning when I logged on to my lottery software, there was a message sent to all users of the software by the company that sells it. (Interestingly the company is located in Clearwater) The message talked about the fact that FF5 now has two drawings per day, and if users want, there is a way to filter out the midday drawings, and just use/see data from the evening drawings. Now that there has been two drawings held, I think we can see the pattern for what the future holds as far as jackpots go. The midday draw jackpots will be low, and the evening draw jackpots will be substantially higher. (Last nights jackpot was almost three times higher than the midday's) My guess is that FF5 players will catch on to that very quickly, and as a result will wait for the midday draw to happen, and then buy their tickets for the evening draw.
