Selling lottery tickets across the entire USA is a massive business. It's a multi-Billion dollar business. Corporations like AT T, Exxon/Mobil, NetFlix and IBM are multi-billion dollar enterprises. So lottery ticket sales is huge. That means the people who run the states lottery games are managing an extremely vital not to mention a huge source of revenue for the states, and they know many things about managing that business that most players never even think about or realize. When I read other forums here at The Lottery Post, I some times learn something new. There are some incredibly smart lottery players posting their thoughts on playing smartly in just about any forum you'd care to read. As much as I hate to say it, most players aren't very savvy. They play blind by buying just QP's or they repeatedly play a set of personal numbers unaware that their numbers could be horrible numbers. We all know that the lottery is a suckers bet. Buying lottery tickets is a lot like watching dollar bills swirling around in your toilet that are about to go down the drain. So if that's the case, why would you not want to play as smartly and cost effectively as possible? BTW - I do buy Q

Buying more lottery tickets increases your chances of winning. It is all random though, hence you should you should spend as much as you can afford.

What I'm about to write absolutely stinks, but it's a sad fact of life. Of the millions of players that buy lottery tickets a few players will win a lottery jackpot, but most never will. Given that sad fact of life, it's a big reason why I won't buy midday FF5 tickets. The chances are very good that I wont ever win a FF5 jackpot. It was not a birthday numbers combination neither. The Take 5 midday and evening numbers were also the same. We will leave this random phenomenon to be figured out by our friend GIVEFIVE. I guess that most of those numbers were played using the Jackpocket lottery tickets service.

Just to add a bit more to the story when I went to cash in that ticket..... Most convenience stores up north in New York love to sell you a lottery ticket but they're not so enthusiastic about cashing a winner for you when it's 500 bucks. Sure, they'll cash a $10 winner with no problem, but if you have a $500 winner, they tell you they dont have enough cash on hand and to come back later. That pisses me off! Here's how the new midday drawing has impacted me personally... and I think it's very telling. It's Saturday and I almost always played FF5 on Friday's and Saturday's due to the large jackpot amounts. This afternoon my wife said I gotta go to Publix and get a few things.
