Yeah... didn't think about that. But they gotta put out the new playslips pretty soon. I'm wondering during which hour of the day right now do they sell the most FF5 tickets? Normally nobody would care about that with just one drawing per day, but after March 20th, it makes a difference. Suppose they sell $600,000 worth of tickets in 24 hours - which is what they do now. That's an average of 25,000 tickets per hour. Except it doesn't really work like that. I would think that every day ti

More about Player behavior..... I just cant see players spending twice as much per day on FF5 than they typically do. I know I won't do that. And players in New York didn't do it either. Nobody is in their right mind is going to double their spend and very likely lose twice as much as they did before. There is a core group of regular FF5 players that buy FF5 tickets every day (I'm one of them...although I don't play 7 days per week) and they are not going anywhere. The Florida Lottery knows

You're very welcome. Playing numbers that came out recently is a smart thing to do. But picking all five numbers for one line from the last ten drawings doesn't work so well. The majority of drawings have one or two of the five winning numbers that skipped more than ten draws. My own personal preference for FF5 is to play three or four numbers on one line that were drawn within the last ten draws. The other one or two numbers that I pick for that line are winning numbers that appeared i

Up north I had a work buddy that saw me walkin' across the parking lot and into the building after lunch break. He called out to me and ran over to me and handed me a scratch off and said Does that say $4600? I said It sure does! Congrats. He simply replied Yeah. Thanks. So I told him not to be so excited... Then I said Well you probably just won back most of the money that you've sunk into buyin' scratch offs Nah. Not even close was his reply. He then said the trouble with scratch off

I stopped buying the combo after the promo ended. For me, the big thing about buying the combo while the promo was in place was that I might get to play for free. When the jackpot got to two million, I started buying five games with the combo each time I played. Because I hit the instant prize two times, I played for free twice. I'm going to keep playing JPT without the combo while the 2 million is still available. Once somebody wins it and the jackpot resets, I won't be playing JPT for a wh

I've been in western North Carolina since last Monday so I haven't paid much attention to FF5. Anyway the real reason I'm posting has nothing to do with the lottery. I learned yesterday that my all time favorite recording artist died last Monday in Toronto at age 84. For probably the last 50 years I have been a Gordon Lightfoot fan. I once had front and center tickets to hear him sing and play his guitar in The Music Shed at Tanglewood in Lenox Massachusetts. That was probably the fifth or

Jackpot Triple Play still has that $2,000,000 jackpot prize hangin' around...... It's been at 2 million for the last three or four draws. I won $10 instantly playing JPT last Tuesday. If you buy a JPT ticket between 4 PM and 7 PM on weekdays with The Combo added, you might win ten bucks instantly. The promo is good through June 30 and winning coupons must be redeemed by that date. If you win, the terminal will print out a regular JPT ticket that says you won ten dollars instantly at the top o
