Looks like they got the hype down there. See how long it will last. They are not used to jackpots as high as $105million. Definetly increased the player base by a lot. I wonder why Florida didn't join Mega Millions. Seems like a MM state to me. Brad

Anyone notice that the Florida MegaMoney game has not been hit since January? Maybe it's not that obvious because the jackpot doesn't grow once it gets to $2 million. There are 4 balls (1-44) and 1 MB (1-22) and the odds are only 1:2,956,522 Maybe less people are playing?

I think the reason Lotto Texas doesn't have higher rollovers is Mega Millions. The players in Texas have a choice between Lotto Texas and Mega Millions(usually a higher jackpot) while in Florida, they only have one choice, Florida Lotto. Lotto Texas just doesn't have the sales that Florida Lotto has. Lower sales might also have something to do with players faith in Lotto Texas. Cash 4 Life started in Florida in February of 2017. Since then there have been 18 jackpot winners. There has been only one winner of the top tier prize of $1000 a day for life and the winners chose the 7 million dollar lump sum option.
