So the powerball number and a white ball the same time
Mega Millions began on August 31, 1996 as the Big Game. The first drawing took place on September 6, 1996, with six states participating: Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia. The phenomenon you mention has been happening for over 20 years!

The current date tells you the outcome of the big game drawings
Let's forget about odds. Lets forget about jackpots. Is it just me or does anyone else see something in the whole date. Meaning for ex. mega millions we all know what came out. Powerball same thing. Obviously we can't predict the next drawing even though the maddog challenge is interesting and everyone likes to play it including myself. It is fun? But I just looked at the past 25 drawings of mega millions and notice something. The pyramids do work if you can figure out the combo

New England's Lucky For Life.
Yes besides L4L, Hot Lotto and Mega Millions have changed their game matrix to make it much harder to win the JP, and Powerball is about to do the same thing. In their attempt to create bigger jackpots they have alienated those of us who dislike ridiculous odds. I'm sticking with my favorite state game and only playing the big games when the JP gets up there close to half a billion.

MM Megaplier
MM has trouble rolling over at that level. Since Big Game/MM began in 1996, the matrixes have changed every three years (1999, 2002, 2005.) Would there be another change come 2008?

$400 million jackpot
The former Big Game had its record jackpot in 2000. Mega Millions has not broken it. Powerball reached its high this year.

First Time Ever -- 2 Mega Millions Winners
Since The Big Game became Mega Millions, there has never been two jackpot winners sharing the jackpot. Now, it happens when the jp is only $35 million! Just goes to show how anything can happen, I guess.

MM at 12 million
That makes Powerball the big game in town now. :-) By the way, Ohio's website says $12 million but Illinois and the National site still say $315 million right at this moment.
