Lose for Life in VA
I agree what you said CASH Only. I think most lottery players should play the multi-state jackpot game.

Did Hot Lotto begin five years too late?
I'm thinking why HL is struggling. It began in 2002 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Powerball. Maybe it should have been offered instead of Daily Millions, as a 5th anniversary game. It probably would have started with more MUSL members, like Rhode Island, then the actual six, which has become eight. The name Hot Lotto was used by Idaho for a pick-5, which probably explains why ID doesn't sell it. Perhaps Kentucky, which for years was interested in a regional multi-state game, would be se

$1.4 Million for California 2nd prize winner!
That has to be a record for a 2nd tier prize payout for a multi-state game. Congrats to the winner!

Powerball is on a winners streak again!
I play starting at the $100 Million level only 'cause I take a slight trip to get to Georgia to buy the tickets. If Mega was cheating with the first 11 or 12 draws I wouldn't play and something tells me most of the people here wouldn't play.It would introduce quite a few other options like select a state to win where they have a winner in a state to raise slumping sales. Eventually you know they would get caught and goodbye mega and possibly goodbye most multi-state lotteries. I don't feel th

Powerball is $54 million
If I'm playing the Lotto, I don't play any multi-state game unless the jackpot is at least $75 million or double the lotto jackpot (currently $37.5 million).

Powerball Matrix Change?
Ouch a 400 million dollar loss in sales thanks to how poorly the game has been going lately. Powerball also needs to dump the lame rules regarding record jackpots. It's not exactly something they have to worry about unless they change the game but having limits on how high a jackpot gets will only dampen sales once a new Megamillions cracks all the Powerball records.Sadly the story also quotes some lame professer saying basically with the current odds they should get larger prizes. Same poor mat

Someone hit mega - needs a fix
FL is actually considering joining a multi-state game, but they say it may be a 3 year wait.

South Carolina
don't forget that new lotteries are popping up every year, so FL may not be the last lottery without a multi-state game.

South Carolina
I believe CA will join Mega Millions; FL will join Powerball as the last state without a multi-state game.

Your Dream Lotto Game
Well the ideal game is one that I win. Other than that there are ideal state games and ideal multi-state games. Oregon has the best state lottery - more than 50% to the players, good odds (one in 6 million) and the pot hits 20 million at least every year. The ideal pick 5 is washington quinto (one in 2.6 million) and breaks 2.6 million every year and is cash at once. The ideal multi-state game doesn't exist. It would have odds in the 150-180 million range and have pots that break 300 million ever
