Straight-only option for Prediction Pages
I haven't done what you are suggesting a lot, but again, with the upgraded membership (I sound like a commercial!!), you can do that very easily. Here is what is predicted for Georgia Midday today, without the all states predictions:Deflating predictions for Georgia Midday 3 on May 31, 2005, not including All States predictionsResults: 69Tier 15450(450,450,450,450,450,450,450,450,450,450,450,450,045,405)Tier 12451(451,451,451,451,451,451,451,451,451,451,451)Tier 4018(108,810,180) 047(470,740,74

Longer titles for the subject line
dvdiva:It's a bigger pain than you would think. Right now I am rewriting the ENTIRE Lottery Post site to be 100% XHTML 1.1 compliant (and validated). I am talking every single page is being rewritten, sometimes from the ground up.The result will be a much better code base, but I am really tearing my hair out doing it, and it's one of the main reasons there hasn't been many new features lately. I can't write any new features until the new website is finished, because otherwise I'd have to writ

Sound effects
There is currently one single sound effect on Lottery Post: When you click on a state in the Results map. The problem is that to make sound in a web browser is difficult and not consistent between browsers. So in order to do it you have to resort to some complicated coding in Flash. (If you notice a web site with sounds, it is almost always a Flash-based site, at least partially.) I did do some experimenting at one point (when I was building the Sudoku game), but it didn't work very well,

Ah yes, the report makes things much clearer. The cause of the problem is the single warning on the report: you have not upgraded to IE7. Since you're running Windows XP, upgrading to IE7 is a no-brainer. You will instantly get a far-better internet browser that will get rid of much of the bugginess that plagues your web-browsing experience today. That page happens to exhibit a bug that I've seen before, where IE6 decides that you can't highlight small sections of text; instead, it wants to h

Lottery Study
Raven62: What a wonderful idea. However, I worry about what Todd said about people getting so upset over what is correct and what is not. But the voting idea does seem to carry the day. This would really be a feather in the caps of LP members to come up with something like this. It certainly would add some additional pride and professionalism to the Lottery Post. Great idea man! Everyone already has a buddy list . It's called Favorite Members . Click on a person's name, and then select Add member as a Favorite . I built Favorites with the intention of doing exactly what you're all talking about -- seeing when they're online, getting notification of their posts and blogs, etc. I just haven't had the time to build it! Edit: You can always see and edit your Favorites by clicking My Favorites in the Members menu. You can also see someone else's Favorites by clicking

two numbers groups tools
I guess one of the things I'm having trouble with is your vTracs usage. The vTrac 124 has eight possible Pick 3 combos: 013, 018, 063, 068, 513, 518, 563, and 568. But according to you, the 124 matches with a 721 and and 741. That doesn't make sense to me. If you'd like a full listing of all vTracs, and what Pick 3 combos they related to, there is a chart posted here on Lottery Post: https://www.lotterypost.com/vtracs-mirrors.aspx Also, a description of vTracs is here: http

RNG for selected pool of numbers
What a stupid idea, Rick G.!!! Rick G: I know, I was just trying to help people that asked how they can do this. Why in the world would you want to help strangers on Lottery Post? Rick G: Because I have been asked for help from fellow members on the private messages and wanted to be a good member, contributing my ideas even though the ideas are harvested for profit from this site. Boy you are a friggin' idiot! Rick G: Yes, I know.
