This $5 ticket is intriguing for hitting $500. My mom might actually start getting one of these rather than the $2 tickets she plays. If she hits $500 before I do, I'm gonna be maaaad. Indeed. In my area, I'm seeing $20 Monopoly tickets with book numbers ranging from the early thousands upwards to 100k. Perhaps some lower traffic stores or DO has some of those $1m prizes. I assume there should have been at least 2 $1m prizes hit. Perhaps this pool is fairly irregular, and some of the $1m hits are coming soon. I received the instant liability reports for the $200MS, $2M Jackpot and Super Millions today. I am posting them below. I apologize for the formatting. Over 90% of the lower tier prizes were counted as claimed so I figured the top prizes are in circulation. I am not sure the reason the CA Lottery does not have the website ready for these promotion as soon as the scratcher game is out. Not sure if they purposely want to reward people who pay attention to detail. I have seen all the warning signs ahead of time for each game to not miss out on any additional promotions (though I do not end up winning). I reread the players lougne newsletter for the month and found this These special drawings will be held once a week from April 27th to May 31st.

I second what Dr wrote: Yes, good wins can come from the bottom row or very last spot. I have had both a nugget on GRT and the GO symbol from Monopoly on the very last spot. And I am BIG TIME in agreement about the one-offs and reverse numbers, I despise that because it is an obvious trick. I play Louisiana's pick 5 game, which is called Easy 5, and Lotto (pick 6). I only play Powerball on my own when it hits $100 million. I also have my lottery pool at work which plays Powerball and Lotto. I'm thinking of instituting a similar rule for playing Lotto on my own, i.e. only playing it myself when it reaches a certain level, and just buying Easy 5 for myself. As for scratch offs, I seldom play them even though the odds of winning something(not necessarily the jackpot) are higher

Had to go searching back in the thread for this. Ok, I don't have the ILR so I don't know exactly how many books were printed. Best estimate I can see is 760,000 books based on 3,800,000 x 6 and then divided by 30 tickets = 760,000 rolls, but given the added prints and such and that the prize layout is similar at the top to $20 Flamingo, safe to say the roll numbers are going to go up to at least 800K in the end before they start pulling the game off the shelves. Mhm, casinos pay out better on average. I've never went, and I don't plan on going because I've heard the horror stories of people who get heavily addicted there. If I play in a big poker tourney, I can be at a casino all day. I think the longest I was there was Noon til 10 PM when I got 3rd in a 100 player tourney. That lasted a long time because of rebuys. I visit the casino once or twice a month. Usually closer to once. It bothers me for awhile if I lose, but you just have to calm down and keep a budget, whether it's scratch tickets or the casino. The best strategy for you might be to buy some tickets and go home, that way you don't have access to more
