Losing faith in lottery, dismayed at what I'm seeing in America
i couldn't figure out if I wanted to post in scratch games or here. But lately I've mainly been playing scratch games, but before I stuck to random numbers. Don't mean to discourage anyone else from playing, but in my case I've been playing hard for 8 months now and still no win over $40. I look at the trends in random number games, I look at the odds and prizes claimed on scratch offs and remaining left. I have even been buying 2-5 $5 scratchers in one batch, and up to 10 $1 scratchers in a

Looking for scratch players from TN
First off congrats on your win! Sounds like you are sticking with my favorite, Giant Jumbo Bucks. When I plop down $5 for that game, I like to think of it as a 'pass line bet' in craps...or maybe a $5 blackjack bet. Obviously we live too far from Tunica or Vegas to bet on a regular basis, so a 5-spot on a possible $150,000 win has to suffice in the mean time. I hope your strategy continues to pay out for you. I have read of a big winner in Florida, a guy name Richard Lustig I think, who

Buy scratcher at one store, redeem at another?
Upon conducting my own independant research, I have discovered the following: Florida retailers receive 1% commission for cashing Florida Lottery winning tickets. What about Tennessee retailers? They cannot accept tips, as per their retailer contract: Retailers shall not condition the sale of Tickets upon the purchase of any other goods or services and shall not impose any other unauthorized restriction or condition upon the sale or redemption of Tickets. Neither Retailer nor its employ

Scratch off methods.
CarHauler it is very interesting how you break down the odds, and very helpful. I live in TN where we have many of the same games GA has but with less payouts. The odds sound roughly the same though. How long have you guys had Jumbo Jumbo bucks? You said it has a 500,000 payout...here in TN it would probably just have around 200 or 250,000. We do get the Jingle Jumbo bucks (or we have the last 2 years) and I think it has the best odds but only comes around this time of year. I played it

Looking for scratch players from TN
Looking to make some friends from tennessee who like playing scratch off and would like to share information and knowledge from the tennesse scratch off world and perhaps even begin our own round table syndicate for tennesse scratch offs. I am a relative newbie to the games, but already, using the advice I've learned from hours and hours of study ... I've begun to hit big tickets with VERY minimal investment. A tiny thing I learned online just a few days ago lead me to buy ONE MORE ticket today,

How to win at the Georgia $20 instant game, Maximum Green
If you haven't yet, check out this post: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/225303. You can compare it with the TN ticket which looks the same, but pays out up to a million in GA and only $250,000 in TN. Ours has typical bad odds of 1 in 3.27, but is still better than thr TN odds of 1 in 3.63. Lottery Tennessee Black #280 Rules: Match any of your numbers to any winning number, win prize shown for that number. Get a $$ symbol, win double the prize shown for that symbol. Get an ALL sym

Best Florida Scratch Offs
Next week I finally get a vacation to Florida and I am quite stoked about it. I think most any state has better scratch offs than Tennessee (except Kentucky). What are the best FL scratch off's in your opinion, by denomination: $1 2 3 5 10 20 other? These are the amounts TN sells theirs in so I am thinking it is roughly the same in FLA. I tend to stay away from games about to expire, so please let me know which those are, if you know. Thanks in advance an

NC Instant Ticket Players, good info for you and comments wanted
I am not surprised. In Tennessee, I have noticed sometimes store clerks will scan the ticket when I buy it (just like they scan any other product I buy), whereas others do not. This makes me wonder: 1. Are they scanning it just to 'ring up' the product like normal or 2. are they scanning it to determine if it is a winner or not or 3. are they NOT scanning it because it has already been scanned by them previously and they dont want to ring it up twice? I have long thought

Do these states have the three digit validation codes?
I'm working on a project and I'd like to know if the following states use the three digit validation codes. Example: FIV = $5.00 Arkansas Connecticut Delaware Florida Georgia Indiana Kansas Kentucky Nebraska New Mexico North Dakota Oklahoma Rhode Island Tennessee I'm from Ohio so I don't know if these states use validation codes. Any information that you can give would be helpful.
