Michigan Scratch-Off ticket
Woman plans to spruce up home after winning $500K from Michigan Lottery instant game. A Leelanau County woman plans to spruce up her home after winning $500,000 playing the Michigan Lottery's Platinum Wild Time instant game. The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her ticket at the Empire EZ Mart, located at 9988 West Front St. in Empire. I scratched the ticket off as soon as I got to my car with it, she said. I almost passed out when I saw I won $500,000. I was so ex

Am I normal?
Hi fish40, We sound alot alike. I've probably played through a comparable amount of tickets, and I've only been playing scratchoffs for a year. I got hooked after my uncle gave me some for Christmas last year. I'm also 24, so a similar age as you. My advice is to seek out your local Gambler's Anonymous club. I plan on attending the one in my area as well. There's no shame in going, you recognize that you have an addiction and that is a big step. I have the same addiction, and we

Disgruntled Lottery Employees Tell Everything!
I didn't know that. I thought an oath was when you swore to uphold the constitution in the case of a member of Congress, other elected officials, and Military personnel. You can testify under oath in a criminal trial, but I do not see how an employee of a company could take an oath. I did not know that these employees put their hands on their Bible, and raised their right hand while swearing under oath that they would not reveal any secrets. I think it is more likely a non-disclosure agreemen

Crooks stealing instant Scratch off tickets From Conveince Stores in NYC
I read the news a few days ago but now that these creeps still havent been caught I have decided to post the story. Form what I read a few days ago the scam artists works the scam similar to this... Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Excellent advice here from Rcb, and Lottery4me. @ Pickachu - I found myself splurging more and more to the point where my credit card debt started increasing. Around 14 months ago, I started playing with a couple random $5 tickets after receiving some $1 or $2 scratchoffs for Christmas. I then found myself buying $20 tickets, $25 tickets, and losing $300 within the span of minutes (max ATM withdrawal daily limit for my old checking) and not even sweating it. When a bunch of us were chasi

$750,000 Winner - Jingle Jumbo Bucks - 2010
CarHauler said: Is it just me, or are consecutive ticket wins, in exact order almost nonexistent? I keep hearing that 2 tickets in a row do happen, but I am not sure that it has ever happened to me. I think it is just as random as several losing tickets in a row. One time I cashed in a $5 winning 'ticket' winner and the cashier was one of those that said 'you HAVE to buy $5 worth of tickets' as opposed to giving me cash. So I got $5 worth of junior jumbos. All 5 were winnners for a grand tot

NC Instant Ticket Players, good info for you and comments wanted
I am not surprised. In Tennessee, I have noticed sometimes store clerks will scan the ticket when I buy it (just like they scan any other product I buy), whereas others do not. This makes me wonder: 1. Are they scanning it just to 'ring up' the product like normal or 2. are they scanning it to determine if it is a winner or not or 3. are they NOT scanning it because it has already been scanned by them previously and they dont want to ring it up twice? I have long thought
