Scratcher stories
Dracos, first I'm happy that you won. I do have a couple of questions for personal reasons. You called the stores and asked them what the book numbers were? And they told you? How does knowing the book numbers help you in determining which book to play? I'm assuming you're talking about the numbers on the backs of the tickets, but if that's the case, those books are sealed and why would they unseal them or even dig for them if they're in a basement or what not just to read a book number? Just a

Check out the newest instant lottery ticket
So the returns on a book would be int[100(50/40)] + 50(50/25) + 25(50/12.5) = 300. 400 for a good book. Highly unlikely to have a loaded book if each book needs a 100 in it. Easily the only book I'd never buy. Seriously wtf. I use int to calculate returns because it's more realistic to estimate low on books, even if the decimal is out to .9997.

Would the lottery get upset if we post pictures of TOP PRIZE scratch off tickets?
On a few ocassions the store has had open sequential books. Bought the last four $2 tickets (096-099) from the book lost on all of them. Bought the first two tickets (001 002) of the next book and won $10 on the first and $3 on the second. The tickets are made to go in sequential order, the idea of a book is just a group of tickets printed in order. I think only Texas has the min payout per book. I've always tried to get a really low number book on the day that games come out but they never come

what do you think a book looks like with a jackpot winner in it?
I Was always curious as to what the rest of the book would look like with a jackpot winner in it? Everytime I see a ticket with a 100 or 200 winner, I always shy away from the rest of the book thinking that the book would be dead. It usually is. Do you think that the rest of tickets would be free tickets and 25 50 dollar winners?

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Interesting results there Dracos, that 10x for $10 definitely gives you a bad feeling, no idea why they do that. The 10x seems better reserved for an actual winning prize. Nice Win's on the $2500 a week for life! I lost on 10 in a row of those last week so there was probably a decent winner in that pack right after my losers lol. Glad to see you were relatively successful. So the crew and I decided to do our first Chase for a winner of the 5$ Cashfall tickets, it started on Friday when I f

NC Scratch Offs... Anyone ever buy a Whole Book/Roll of tickets?
I live in Boone NC and have played Scratch offs for about 5 years now... I've won a few nice wins over the years... I'm curious if anyone in NC has bought a Whole Book of tickets at a time? If you have Experience doing this, what where your results? From what I hear, the NC Books are $300 for the $1, $2, $3, $5, and $10 tickets but a $20 Book is $600... I've noticed the Best Time to buy the NC Scratch offs is on the DAY the New Tickets come out because the First Wave of tickets seem to

When the 500X first came out I popped on a book and got $700 back (though @Gators, I don't feel as bad about it anymore after reading about the measly $500 you say going in on a book with a coworker). On YouTube I've seen $400 back on a $50 Spectacular book...so it can be pretty dismal (though the same guy hit $10K on a live group book session last Monday, via a 500X x $20). Nice books are out there though. A little ago I came across a 500X book at Publix on #28 and bought the next 8. Sc

What pops out to me is the ticket size of the Big ol Bens $5 game. For years FL Lotto has seemed to reserve the smallest size ticket exclusively for $1 games (like the leftmost $50 Explosion )...but from the picture it looks like the $5 BoB will be the same size as $1 games. (It also looks like it will be another game from FL Lotto's relatively new supplier Pollard Banknote). FL $5 games have, for years come 60 tickets/book for $300, and $1 games likewise 300/book for the same total. So, ever

fl scratch offs
I don't buy rolls usually I'll get 4 or 5 from different rolls with different book numbers. If I don't get a $500 winner in a roll I lose - say the book is $600 - the rule is you can expect about a 40 % return unless you hit that 500 or a bigger one. I looked at the instant liability report on $25 and $20's ...... I was surprised to see Gold Rush $20 ticket (was yellow now tan) was about 92% sold ..... means fewer left ......it had a bunch of 500 and 1000 tickets still out there, also a lot o

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
No, I was referring to multiplying the book number by 30. If the first number is the book number you would multiply by 30 because in your example there were 30 tickets per book. In Michigan and a lot of other states the numbers on the bottom are xxx-xxxxxxxx-xxx with the first set being the game number and the second set being the book number and the third set is the ticket number in that particular book. So in a lot of states You multiply the overall odds by the overall number of prize
