New to Scratchers!
I am in Virginia as well, and I usually buy $20 scratch offs. I buy them by the pack, freshly sealed and have to ask the clerk for a brand new pack. This yields the best possible return than buying from a pack where people have already started to buy 1,2,or 3 at a time. A fresh pack of $20 scratch offs cost $400 with 20 tickets. Basically 20 chances of winning something greater than $400. If not, then you are guaranteed at least 50% of return back in your pocket. I dont buy packs often, but i go

New to Scratchers!
Hello all, My wife and I started buying scratchers a few days ago just for fun, turns out they're really addictive when you're winning. I read online in a few places never to buy just one or two, so we went and bought 20 $2 scratchers from 7-11. That night we got a $50 and a $25 ticket along with a few $2 winners. The following day I was at another 7-11 and bought 10 5X The Money and won $36. That evening my wife bought 20 5X The Money and we won $46! I've been looking for a Virginia scrat

Let's DEMAND a Florida Scratch Off GRID showing lower tier prizes!
I'm tired of buying Florida Scratch offs not knowing how many lower tier prizes are available. I just randomly picked a few States - Ohio, Illinois, Virginia and Texas. They all have a grid showing how many scratch off prizes were issued and how many LOWER tier prizes are yet to be won. WHY NOT FLORIDA ? If we ALL write to the Florida Lottery and ask they put up such a grid, we would have a much better chance and idea of what we might win. Florida Only shows TOP prizes left. If you agree and are

Another thing. I saw what I thought was a new ticket.. Deluxe Winner Take All for $5 at Redners. I bought it and it was regular one. After googling, this is a Virginia ticket. The picture is exact. Wonder why they used that image for their vending machine in PA. I know the store puts the image in the push button thing. Just found that odd... Sorry for multiple posts. It doesn't allow me to edit my original

Consecutive winning tickets
Hmmm lets see last year I played a full book of maximum millions in Virginia and every other ticket was $100 up until ticket #10. I've played a couple books of that Tax Free game and that was the most i ever had I hit fifty bucks on five tickets in a row back to back, does happen sometimes guess the comuter is designed to do this of course.. Also i think I had 4-5 back to backs on Corvette Cash too in VA I was playing that game alot it started in June of 2009 and they have been giving away some

Photos of scratch off manufacture
Was seeing if anyone could find or has any photos of Gtech or anyother manufacture printing LARGE amounts in there warehouse, I saw a picture the other day somewhere on the Virginia Lottery website (i cant find it anymore) it was a picture of a huge roll of tickets they printed and the roll was so big it looked like you needed 2 tractor trailors to haul it away.... Thanks

Fast Play Games?
Well, they are technically instant , so it probably fits here. They don't have games like that in West Virginia, but they do across the river in Ohio, and I play them.

Buying $20 cards for gift...need advice!
Dunno how far you are from Virginia but there are much better odds there. For a $20 tix, odds on top prize of a million is half of what they are in NC. Just saying I am doing the same thing with buying bunch of scratchers for Christmas too. Only I bought a whole wide range of tickets from all over the state. I perfer the randomness of it

New Scratch-Off
I wish they'd have lump sum payoffs on some of them things. Some of us old geezers ain't gonna be around long enough to collect very much. I just noticed recently that some of the Million Dollar winners on Virginia $20 tickets are paid in 25 year annuities. Heck, I'll be pushing up daisies long before I could collect much of that.
