CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
but to be fair I did not buy the ticket from the places where I was refused Well, that's just it. There is no requirement that you have to cash the ticket at the place you bought it. Any retailer is supposed to cash $599 and under tickets. I quote from calottery.com: Just take your winning ticket to a Lottery retailer and the clerk will hand you cash on the spot. It's that easy. No stipulations, so disclaimers about certain stores only cashing up to a certain amount. Is this false adver

This is so special, I had to post it...sorry it's not a million BUT it's better than that... it's the FIRST $500 FRENZY ticket I found since RELEASE. These were irritating me so much I swore off them...I caved and bought one at a creepy gas station and there it was...$500. I'd take a million, but you guys don't know how maddening it was to just get $5's on these things.. it was almost like the $500's in a game advertising LOADS of $500's, did not exist. oh lol...ticket number

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I think you are accurate. The $200MS top prize paid out over 20 years which resulted in a greater lump-sum payment of approximately $800,000 (80% of advertised jackpot) currently because of current low interest rates. However, when the game was released, the lump-sum payment for a top prize was budgeted to be $671,000 for the prevailing interest rates at that time. The $10 Holiday ticket pays the top prizes over 25 years which results in a slightly lower lump-sum payment of about $1,500,

I think a lot of players feel that way James - good for you on making that choice. In terms of chasing a winner..it helps to put it into perspective: 4 top winners in a batch of 6 - 10 million tickets. They should be ashamed of themselves for all the advertising they do about Millions and how it could be anyone that becomes one instantly. Most of those anyone's will wind up losers. The states could easily increase top prize amounts of even a million dollars. I'm loo

Pfftt...I've had the odds explained to me once by some lottery employee. As soon as I read through it I thought yeah, yeah, typical lottery double-speak and smoke and mirror tactics. They talk in circles so I can't help think they do things the same way. They're posting odds out of the whole printing. That's, here in PA anyway, 6 to 7 million tickets per game. Sad state of affairs when you have odds of 1:3.1 and the lottery is sitting back laughing at the people who believe that by b

NYS Lottery commits fraud in sales of Scratch off game
To answer ALL your questions in order: 1-I cannot find an attorney that specializes in NYS Lottery law. 2-I sent my letters to as many media outlets I could. 3-I am not adverse in social media so for me that is archaic lol 4-I got no advice from a lawyer because cannot find one although I reached out to many who were said to be specialist with lottery law. 5-I have some money and if I have to do it I would because it is about principle for me. And if the courts find their is s

I get on a few of those from time to time, but I never put my full name... esp if the board runner(s) know me. I normally do first, middle and last initial just in case someone else has a name that has the same letters in the first and last parts. The likely hood of someone else having all three is a lot lower. At any rate, I'm not sure on the legality but I do know you are allowed to do that sorta stuff if you don't actually pay out cash. You can give out prizes, like gift

has anyone ever sued the lottery for misleading on scratchers?
CALIFORNIA LOTTERY So today i decided to be crazy and buy a whole book of 2$ scratchers. there are 100 scratchers to a book. Normally, I buy 10-20 at a time and make out either doubling or tripling my money. So I buy the book and start...this is where it gets misleading: on the back of each scratcher it tells you the odds: odds of winning ANY prize: 1:4.33 odds of winning a CASH prize: 1: 7.62 So technically every 5-6th one should be a winning ticket and every 8-9th
