I have been on a losing streak as well. Bought 8 $20 tickets yesterday from the same roll and the only winner was a free ticket. Starting to get frustrated with the GA lottery. They flood the market with winners at the beginning of a game then it turns to crap!

I did see your post. That's what prompted me to go on the lottery website and check the odds of the 7 ticket. For my one splurge I think I'll buy a couple of those and starting next week I'm putting a $20 max. on ticket purchases.

Possibly, but I don't think that's as big a factor as the potential that they might not be allowed to. If they provide a way to essentially bet a multiplier on the amount their spending it may interfere with some aspect of the law for the lottery. I could be way off, but it may be one thing to allow people to buy 50 separate tickets but another thing to give them a way to bet X amount of dollars per ticket. Or more likely, the lottery is just slow at developing common sense changes. Hell, loo

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
This lottery retailer near my work is really starting to annoy me. Yesterday, I took a $20 Scratcher winner, and I just wanted cash, and he (owner) kept pushing why I didn't want to buy some tickets instead. Well, because I don't! I didn't really think much of it until today, I had a Fantasy 5 3of5 winner for $13. I went to cash that and get one Powerball ticket. The same guy without asking me prints a Fantasy 5 ticket on his own after printing my Powerball ticket and says, here you take this Fa

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
The lottery will withhold 25% of the win for our Federal withholding starting at $5,000 (or $5,001 I can't remember exactly) regardless of the amount. If one is in a tax bracket higher than 25%, there will be more taxes due when they file though one can deduct loses against the win, if they keep losing draw and scratcher tickets. If we win $10,000, we will get a check for $7,500. Here's the part people get in trouble with. A lot people think that the amount the CA Lottery withholds is their
