$1.08 billion Powerball lottery winner Yanira Alvarez filed claim for jackpot over five months ago
Years ago there was an incident in another state in which the jackpot was over $80M (a record at that time) and a woman claimed she had dropped the ticket outside of the store that was identified as being the seller of the winning ticket. She did this because the real winner had not yet come forward and the media was creating a frenzy over what was taking so long (it really wasn't long at all but people were excited about the wining jackpot). People flocked to the store and news crews vi

Ohio: 3/1 - 3/31/2024
I know that it's close to draw time but, I just wanted to share this. While I was getting my tickets for tonight, there was a guy in front of me playing the lottery. I noticed that he was playing the pick 3. He mentioned that he has a strategy that involves +1 -1. So, I asked him if he had any good numbers for tonight. He said to play 33 pair with 0-9. I don't know if he was being truthful or just pulling my leg. But, I played them anyway.

$1.3 billion Mega Millions lottery winner's family sues him for not sharing jackpot
Artist makes some really good points above. Brock Lee also made an interesting point he split the prize with a gf who isn't his baby mama . Db101 added further clarification the most plausible explanation is that they went halvsies (with gf) on purchasing some tickets for that drawing. Lotteries split prizes among members of lottery pools all the time, whether it's a pool of 2 or 20 .. That gf's existence is irrelevant to the story here My take is unless plaintiffs can prove John Doe did not hav

Texas Lotto
I try. Right now laying off some until it gets higher. I'm making a strong effort to reduce my lottery spending this year. Focusing on reducing debt. I figure I won't be working a part time job past a few more years. I found an envelope full of Ohio Lotto tickets from 1985 in my garage a couple weeks ago. No idea how or why they got brought all the way down here except they got tossed in with other stuff. That year was my biggest lottery win. If I recall, about $890. 40 years of playin
