Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Well, Visiondude and Konane (amoungst others) kind of proved my point. Two people can totally believe in God, and believe two different things. I respect both of your points of view, you both back up your claims well. I will definitely keep everything I've learned here in mind, but I think I still must search for what I believe.KWHILBORN,You brought this subject to the attention of many people, including myself. I have always been interested in the abilities of the mind. I've tried working with

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Maybe Vick is onto something. From what I have been researching (and sharing), it could be possible that by predicting the numbers with the belief that my method is so accurate that I could actually be changing the outcome. I am willing to explore more possibilities.I just want to know why my lottery tickets have been winning so much more since I started this method. Once we narrow it down, perhaps we can practice and improve upon it. There is a course on audiocassettes or books called Silva

Certainty and Prediction
What's missing here is Visiondude's counterpoint..... I hope he returns soon...So what if you can prove mathematically the non-existence of God(s).Agnostics underestimate the Social and psychological benefits of a belief in a higher power...1. EVERY culture has a deity, and also those among it who reject that deity... why? because it is too horrific to contemplate that when you die, it's all over... that's the ultimate universal fear, one the masses will never openly embrace. There is comfort in

Important Issue For All
My two or three cents worth comes in a sort of parable.Once in this galaxie, a long time ago, a dyslexic agnostic insombulent wondered all night if dog had gotten religion. Religion is man made. When I was a boy, a long, long time ago in this galaxie and on this planet; various denominations believed that the supreme being was only in their house of worship; athiests aver that they have no creed but they sure like to spend, as the dyslectic put it, the dog that's on a greenback that all of us wo

Important Issue For All
If you will notice Todd, the petition in the first post is titled A Petition Supporting a Constitutional Amendment . A constitutional amendment would not be necessary if the pledge was constitutional. The phase Under God does refer to the christian god. The push to have it put in the pledge was started in 1951 by the Knights of Columbus. Look them up to see who they are.In 1797 the United States entered into a treaty with Tripoli, in which it was declared: As the government of the United Stat

Important Issue For All
The Establishment Clause was intended to prohibit the federal government from declaring and financially supporting a national religion. Aren't we going down a Slippery Slope here? Do you really want the Federal Government declaring an Official Religion? The schools my children go to are very diversed. There are Muslims, Buddists, Wiccans, Atheists, etc there who would rather not have their patriotism tied to public professions of christian belief. So I invite you to sign this Petition toRESTORE O
