Are Secrets Really Worth Keeping?
For games without a Jackpot (such as Pick 3, Pick 4, Keno etc.) there is also a system known as the Martingale System. It works like this:1. Save up as much money as you can.If you play $5 per day, you will have to not play for 7 months or cut back to $1 per day for about 9 months in order to save the $1,023 you need to even have a shot at this.2. Select a number to wager on with minimal return and maximum odds. Example: Keno Pick 1 with 1 in 4 odds and 2 x wager prize.3. Use the minimum wager

how do you pick your lotto number
I use a number of ways to pick my numbers. None of them any better than others. I win a few, lose a few. But here are a few ways. I ask my kids for numbers, tag numbers of cars in the parking lot of the store I'm going to. Sometimes I look up and the time on the clock will make me go Aha! and I'll play it. I have one cash 3 system that half way works and I chose numbers from that. I use birthdays, numbers with special meaning in the Bible. Hot numbers, cold numbers, over due numbers. And quick

Watch out Indiana! Its Pick 3 MY way!
Indiana is corrupt. This is how I would change it.If I controlled the pick 3 games I would do the followingA. My drawing would use only 3 machines, each of them would have 30 balls inside, 3 of each number.B. Each ball would weigh exactly the same amount.C. Drawings would be recorded and placed on a website to cut costs BUT the lottery would hold an ongoing sweepstakes. Lottery players could sign up for a chance to participate in the drawings. They would include $10 worth of losing tickets in

Does anyone have a lottery credo, rules?
I use any one or all of 5 methods of picking my numbers. First I keep track of the last 5 draws midday and evening combined in a stack. Then I plug those into powertrails method. Then I make 10 picks each pick 3/4. then I check them against a no hit list I made for my state. I pick 5 numbers that haven't hit before for pick 4. And 5 picks that haven't hit in the longest while in pick 3. The remaining picks are usually selected from the last 3 draws in both games. I compare those numbers with the

Hey everyon! I'm new! :-)
Hey Thanks everyone!I just got back from TX. I never play pick 3 but I did today for TX and LA because of the predictions I saw and how some of them came true. So I just decided to try my luck. I made a mistake sort of on the LA Pick 3. I used the numbers 510 and I picked 510 and 015. I didn't realize until after I bought the ticket that those are the same numbers. LOL! Well, if those come up I'll just win double.I liked the book. It was actually fun to read. It's something I'd love to

My Made-Up State's Lottery
Thanks for all the nice comments. I don't know if I'd like to actually work for a lottery, then I couldn't play. But anyway, here's another game description. What's your fantasy? A Bentley? A trip around the world? A house? Fantasy 5 can make that happen. Jackpots start at $200,000, and have reached almost $2 million. No other pick 5 game in the country comes close. And the lower tier payouts are also good. So Fantasy 5 isn't just big, it's Ginormus(R)!Just pick 5 numbers from 49, or have the Dre

Hidden opportunities within abbr. wheels
RJOh,First of all, we do not use an abbreviated wheel to hit the jackpot. Chances to hit the jackpot are directly related to the total tickets played as any other method of generating tickets to play.Second, abbreviated wheels are good if we want to ensure a guarantee for a lesser prize category with the minimal possible cost. This is impossible with quick picks or if you randomly arrange your numbers. You'll end up with many more tickets to ensure that guarantee. As for the Pick 3 example, I jus

I just broke the mold on quick picks
Quote: Originally posted by Rick G on November 21, 2004Thanks Badger, but no I didn't get lucky....I posted my ticket on the wall next to my computer to remind me of how all things are possible. I started playing quick pick on Little Lotto just a couple of weeks ago because of the reason you mentioned...there is no logic in the numbers drawn with so many possible combinations. Plus it saves me a lot of analyzing time and at least I am hitting 2 of 5 more often now.The numbers were 32-33-34-3
