Speaking of patterns, do you all consider numbers skipped, etc. to be a pattern? I was using that new tool (drawings skipped) this morning on US lotteries to pick some new numbers to consider for Decades of Dollars. (I had checked my ticket earlier and lost). I took a very loose average of the number of skips in the last 5 drawings and input the 4 skip #'s (like 1, 5, etc) and then went to check the numbers to make certain the set had not won before, and the set was the DOD number that just won.

I play SM, but not as much as I play Take5. When I do play, I buy a couple of bucks worth, unless they have the buy 5 dollars get 3 QP's free promotion. I've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet on SM, and I color code the four decades . I've noticed that multiple numbers in thirty's being drawn is very commonplace. Picking three numbers from the thirty's seems to me to be a smart play.

GA Lottery never ceases to amaze me!!
Just wondering if anyone else plays the Decades of Dollars. Just saw where they started Feb 3. 2011 and after a year they have 2 jackpot winners in the same week. March 3 and Mar 8 i believe were the dates. Im just saying dang dont cheat so blatently at least have some tact about it Marge. Decades of Dollars is a $2 game in Virginia and some other states I believe. You can win $250,000 a year for 30 years and I don't think anybody has ever won the top prize as far as I know.

LOL, these two winners aren't elderly. They are in their early 60s, which classifies them as late middle-aged. Seriously, do you really think that their now more common potential of living an additional 37 years isn't enough years to enjoy their newly won net millions of dollars? To me (I'm just a few years shy of entering early middle-aged), 37 years is a LONG time, just shy of 4 decades, it's a lot of potential years of living full, fun, and well!!!
