Which scenario would you prefer??
#2, because the beneficiary has control over who is the trustee in any trust. The liability protection a blind trust or any trust, compounded by adding a spendthrift clause makes the assets totally invulnerable to lawsuits or any other judgments, just remember that Jack Whittaker person, I personally feel had he used some sort a good thinking Jack would have better protection, I mean Jack was sued by a pole dancer for sexual harassment, and lost! Record Jackpots excluding current Mega
It would thus seem that the largest single winner of a prize - since the larger prizes were all won by pools - would be Jack Whittaker. Of course, Jack was no winner.

Whittaker sued by casino over bad checks
From what I've read about Jack Whittaker, as a millionaire contractor before he won the PowerBall jackpot he was no stranger to local news coverage but winning the PB jackpot create a national interest in him. Jack probably always acted the same way but before his PB win nobody outside West Virgina cared. One of the reason America Most Wanted show has caught so many criminals is it takes local crimes and give them national coverage. Most people don't know what's happening two hundred miles

Jack Whitaker, worse than you thought.
You didn't offend Prob. Nothing of the sort.I did click the link and read enough of the story to find it not worth finishing. Just more gossip that might or mightn't be true.So you find it hypocritical.Maybe it is. If I objected to hypocracy I'd be entirely lost in this world. To avoid subjects about which one doesn't care, one should simply not click on them, you observe.Maybe. Or maybe one should just do whatever he feels like doing and post whatever he feels like posting as a result of wh

Ohio store sells winning $106 million Mega Millions lottery ticket
honestly what would you do if you won so much money? it really is a life changing event, it can be very overwhelmingdiva67:I doubt Jack Whittaker or Hollywood Henderson found it overwhelming. For me, a new set of tires on the car wouldn't be overwhelming to me, but I'm not sure the old Trooper could handle all that tread-depth. I think you might be right, that most people do find it overwhelming, though they don't recognize it for what it is until later. What to do with all that money isn't the p

UK Lottery Winner Nearly Broke
Ahhhh, to be young, rich and unconscionably stupid. That's a once in one hundred lifetimes opportunity for personal betterment just pissed away like a six pack of light beer. Drug addiction or not, there is no excuse for that type of behavior. I know there are millions of people who would have given their left nut to have won a life changing amount of money like that. I'm one of them. Someone needs to step in and b!tch slap that boy into shape before he pisses away the properties too. Hopefully
