You fill out a playslip and walk into the store and give the clerk money and the slip, and hope for the best. Or, you can just tell the clerk you want x dollars quick pick on whatever game you're playing, and hope for the best. Go on the Tx lottery website and read up on how to play the games. Good luck!

Doubt. Bought a quick pick, on my way to work. 766, was on my way out the store, standing in the doorway, looking at my tickets. Said to myself, 766=211 , should turn around and play it. Didn't. 112 hit.

I think what happens is that people are discouraged by identifiable patterns. If your quick pick had 1 2 3 4 5 PB 6, you'd probably hate it. They've never drawn all consecutive numbers, but the fact that it's an identifiable pattern makes no difference at all. There's no difference between that and 17 20 24 30 48 PB 18 (which I'm just assuming has never been drawn). The second set seems more random, while the first is all consecutive. But you don't win for having the most random numbers, you win

LB, Yes I agree many of the people who work in these stores are not really up on all the different ways to play numbers... 50/50 , combo , Front Rear pairs some have no clue and should not be doing this go over to the deli and cut your finger or something LOL. Anyway you hate free Plays ,, hmmmm if you go into a store and ask for two Quick Picks those Free plays you just won are in essence a Quick Pick and historically in NY they have produced many JP winners over the last 20 yrs of Take 5.

What Do You Think About These Duplicated Mega Millions Tickets? Are Lottery Games Rigged?
I THE VALIDATION CODE IS DIFFERENT ON BOTH TICKETS.
