Hoosier Lottery admits new office too lavish
Includes video report
Less than a week after an Indiana TV station broke the story that the Hoosier Lottery overpaid for new offices, lottery officials are making some changes. In a news conference Wednesday lottery officials admitted mistakes were made.
The Hoosier Lottery admits it did not follow state rules when it moved into a new multi-million dollar headquarters on Meridian Street.
The WTHR segment called 13 Investigates first exposed the lottery's fancy new offices and that in

Tenn. Lottery CEO claims sales unhurt by numerous errors
Tennessee Lottery chief Rebecca Hargrove said Monday there's no sign that players have lost confidence despite a daily drawings computer glitch.
A July switch to computerized drawings had incorrectly prevented repeat numbers in the drawings until a programming error was fixed in August. The error meant that no winning draw included duplicate numerals, so any ticket holder who had bet on a number like 2-2-1 or 7-7-7-7 wasn't going to win.
But quarterly sales for Cash 3 tickets sales rose 5

Calif. Lottery misprint leaves 'winners' with nothing
Many people thought they struck it rich playing one of the California Lottery's Scratcher games. But they didn't, and lottery officials blame a misprint, an error, to explain why some folks got a free game ticket instead of thousands of dollars in cash.
The Luna family thought Christmas had come early.
My understanding is I won it fair and square.
Lucy Luna was playing the $3 Scratcher Word Crossword. The ticket says scratch letters to reveal 10 words win $20,000.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
I have a bit of sympathy about that response that players were getting from the lottery, mainly because the lotteries all get accused by angry gamblers daily of being rigged. So the handful of messages they might have received as a result of this drawing error were likely dwarfed by the daily onslaught of similar messages that do not have a shred of proof. You really can't expect a customer service rep to sort all that out, and the result is a canned response, because most of the time what they

Powerball
Yesterday I saw something at a local supermarket's customer service counter that caught my eye.
It was a PowerBall ticket lying underneath a big sheet of clear plastic that was covering some scratch off tickets. Someone had placed a small piece of paper beside the ticket with handwritten words that said Please buy me along with an arrow pointing at the ticket.
The total cost of the ticket was $390. I know it was an advance play ticket because it had a date range of a few days ago out to

Blessings, if you didn't post this I would of never seen the mistake that I made. Thank you. I didn't change my Midday input for last nights 701, and kept yesterdays Midday 653. When I think a number will repeat from the day prior, I typically put the last draw in the isolate input. Dummy, Dummy, me never changed the rundown input to last nights 701. Anyway, the 701 Rundown should of looked like this. I better stop talking about the stars and get back to paying better attention to my numbers. So

No More Self Pick Play Slips Accepted
Although I've never refused a ticket that was created in error, it's my understanding (but I dont have any proof of it) that if the customer refuses the ticket, the cashier has three choices. Also, I've never had a conversation with any clerk in any store as to what their options are when a ticket is created in error.
That said, here's what I've heard/been told - The clerk can try to sell it to someone else, they can buy it for themselves, or they can cancel/void it. Years ago while I lived

Asked ChatGPT How To Win the Lottery
FYI: probability is calculated by dividing the number of favorable outcomes by the total number of outcomes and odds for is calculated by dividing the total number of outcomes by the number of favorable outcomes.
Not nitpickin, and I'll chalk it up as a typographical error, but ODDZ for are calculated az the ratio of favorable outcomez to unfavorable outcomez..ex 1: x.xx
ODDZ against iz x.xx : 1
And, I'm still on yo side...
Az some heaa don't know that Probability Oddz are 2
