Powerball reaches $643 million: highest lottery jackpot of 2025
Quite the difference between the #2 all time Annuity jackpot and the one for tonight.
Same game, same starting point, same price per ticket
1 rollover difference and a mere $1,121,900,000 less in value

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I traded in my recent 500X Star win for the 1st 10 of a book on Monday and played 5 that evening and the next 5 yesterday. I won $100 on tickets 000, 007, and 009, so $300 back. I'll probably get some more this evening.
One subtle but not insignificant detail to the new game is the fact that the top $500K isn't structured as an annuity. The $1M prizes in the other $50 games pay ~$640K if taken as a lump sum, but on the new game you get the full amount (Uncle Sam of course takes a bite either

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I plan to get in when the Annuity is $500M as long as PB is ahead.
But should PB reset to $20M, I may give MM a shot once a week though it's not at $500M.
I feel at that $500M, my $5 contribution will be valid, but at the same time do acknowledge that all games can be won at whatever amount and that there is no magical number when the chances to win are better.
Good luck to all.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
We find it interesting that back in 2020 Powerball went from a $40 Million starting jackpot to a $20 Million starting jackpot, but yet, seems to be doing pretty well building up to that Billion Dollar prize with a $2.00 a Line Play and the Optional Added $1.00 Power Play .

Connecticut couple of 25 years celebrates with $100,000 Powerball lottery win
Today l asked my DeepSeek Ai a very interesting question .
How much do l need to win in lottery to receive $1,000,000,000 cash after lump sum and after Tax ? The answer was interesting
To determine how much you need to win in the lottery to receive **$1,000,000,000 cash after lump sum and taxes**, we need to account for two main deductions:
1. **Lump-Sum Reduction**: Lottery jackpots are typically advertised as annuities (paid over 30 years), but winners usually opt for a lump-s

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
This is the second largest Mega Millions jackpot since the launch of the revised game and behind first place by $276 million.
Or it's $332 million behind the highest jackpot under the new format. With the current annuity to cash ratio it will take an advertised jackpot of nearly $1.04 billion to equal the $452.2 million cash that was awarded to the winner of the current record.
It is also only 5 rolls away from breaking the record for the largest number of consecutive rolls.
And it

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
MM went for 40 draws under the $5.00 ticket to produce a jackpot of $485.2 cash/$980 annuity.
If you can do math, that's 5 months.
The pretax expectation value was 0.49 using a Poisson distribution for probable prizes. At that time there was a 8.15% probability of one winner, 0.36% for two winners, and a 0.01% chance of three winners.
Perhaps you're expecting rollovers for a year in predicting an expectation value greater than or equal to 1.0.
It's not likely
