is it possible to claim a jackpot without even the lottery knowing your identity?
I suppose the best way to find out is to win a major prize and see what happens.
You suppose ? Even if the answer is in great big letters at the top of the lottery's home page how could winning a major prize and using the claim to verify the rules not be the best way?
I say ask Ed Tipton cause that is exactly what he tried to do!
IIRC early articles about it made it sound like the last minute claim was the major reason the lottery anted to know who was behind the legal entity tryin

I am getting harassed by family over a $5,000 lottery win. :(
Not only is it taxable, if you live in a deep blue state, a $5,000 jump in annual income could put you over your next threshold and count against you for the next 12 months and be very costly.
Depending on the blue state you are in...
the electricity rate you pay
the heating fuel bill you pay
your broadband service
your natural gas service for cooking
water septic
medical bills
medications at the pharmacy
your rent if you live in a government housing

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Yeah, well whatever. I can see the numbers, as can anyone who bothers to look intelligently . If one is unintelligent, that's another matter. It is something called a fact that the $5 version of Megamillions ran for 40 draws without producing a billion dollar (annuity) jackpot. It is also a fact that the pretax expectation value has never gone beyond 0.5, something Powerball, as well as the $2.00 MM did a number of times.
If one looks at expectation values, it's immediately obvious to anyone

Powerball is coming to the U.K.
Better off sticking to state games. I usually go for 10 or 20 tickets for the PB , so instead I'll do it all on the 1$ state lottery. It may be less to win but there's a better chance. The winning set of numbers can land in the UK and we're out. Idk how others can't see this. The money doesn't stay in the house, it's going to be spent in another country.
Anyone who wins in the US has to pay taxes, which helps our roads and funds other services. Whoever wins in another country benefits that co

Sunday Dinner right, lol, if nothing else.
I gave my 74 year old neighbor a plate, gave my nephew a sample plate, and my niece got the rest.
The squash greens, and cabbage came from her garden.
It's a chicken thigh under those greens, then, my big sister bought me 2 packs of chicken thighs from Sam's.
Chicken pot pie, next!
I m trying to win some birthday money, lol
When I missed that, 293 straight, my eyes have been crossed since.
Because, I remember doing a workout

Colorado passes law that allows online lottery but bans credit card ticket purchases
Fun Fact: I use my credit card for 99.99% of my purchases. I like the cash back, points, miles etc that I get from using it.
I also pay off my credit card every fortnight. No minimums, no nothing, pay off everything.
I am 100% sure the bank hates me because they don't make any money off me
I only use cash in two instances.
1. Lottery purchases and,
2. Tipping - I don't like putting tips on my card, I prefer to tip in cash so that the recipient is not taxed for it
