My point exactly... Gail made more money selling her system(s) than most people made winning lotteries...

I tend to differ with you there you work with patterns your last draw give you a trace and its up to the player to diciper that draw. Its not as easy and it will cost you hours of testing back testing, failures try again. Your first digit skip pattern put you in jackpot mode and its a very powerfull but to get there is not an easy feat. You must lose your dumb luck mentality and throwing random numbers... You will be waisting your time your money in the process.

And that is not necessarily because those players buy more tickets than the casual player, though it's certainly possible some individuals do, it's because against all reason they buy software and systems that sell the delusion that actionable, non-random patterns exist that will yield future advantage. Same thing exists in the financial markets. The way to get rich is not to take big risks your own money, rather to convince others you have the secrets for them to get rich. Plenty of takers.

Craps Pass Line Simulation
Thanks cottoneyedjoe. I may adapt this for a lotto game, like Powerball or Megamillions, just for the fun of it (and to see how much money a player is likely to lose over a lifetime, even with a modest weekly expenditure). If I do, I'll post it here. I'll also check out that crypto PRNG package.

Chances of 1,2 or three winners in Powerball
There is only five or south secondary winners anyways, so yes, I would think that it's probably ready to roll one more two more times. I think the lotteries making the big money on scratch offs odds are at least a little bit better with them. That takes away from peoples gambling budgets . I don't play scratchers

NUMEROLOGY FASINATING Numbers Rule the Universe
Here's where I will tell you. take a look at any lottery your state lottery drawings, from what I hear there's a way you can see the patcher in the lottery for any game. I'm still waiting for this person with the tablet that shows me everything about it. Basically, if you figure the pattern, you can win, multiple amounts of money

No you simply have one chance to choose a number that will appear in your next draw. By choosing one definite winner wont give you a prize - I said if you know the first digit skip value you have a better chance to predict digit 2 and 3......thats already a prize. Those challenges can give you clear indication who is good predictors thats why I said if you a lottery genius put your money where your mouth is and go show off your skills don't come and troll on a forum attacking posts. I simply stat

Megaball prediction
So using the exact binomial pdf, and not a Gaussian approximation, results in a 1 in 1550 chance that the 8% correct Megaball prediction method was due solely to uniform random chance. That is statistically significant, which is the main point. Losing less money when playing the Lotto is a good thing.
