Determinism vs Randomness and Chance
Jimbo! Dude! Homey! El Diablo! You answered half the questions. Or maybe one. I can't remember. Either way, you answered what you answered and that's good enough for me. No, I don't live off lottery winnings. I wouldn't want to work that hard! Tracking numbers, marking Xs on paper and filling out playslips would take too much time away from playing fetch, which, with a black lab, the odds are very much like playing lottery. I'll never throw that kong one more time than he will retrieve it,

$750,000 Winner - Jingle Jumbo Bucks - 2010
I won $50 on Jingle Jumbo Bucks. It took me a month to the day, from when I first started playing, and I won on my twentieth ticket, on ticket number 018. A week later, and after purchasing 14 more tickets, I won my first jingle bell symbol, which pays $100. It fell on the first ticket in the book, number 029. The average winning ticket is $22.22, pretty close to $20, or double the cost of the ticket. The overall average payout for each ticket is $8.16, including the losing tickets, which means

Fooled by Randomness
(It's really getting annoying to have to keep telling you [and others] that the results I'm reporting here are NOT in support of a betting system that I am proposing, or would ever propose. They are part of a process of understanding LOTTERY SYSTEMS! The Quest for a Blockbuster System So, here is our first SYSTEM in the Fooled by Randomness thread! Your post on August 3 sure looks you either already have a system or you're trying to create one. If you and RL would stop trying

Vtrac search engine on Lottery Post
Okay here is a link to the Vtrac coloring book. I made it and I called it. I could have given it a fancy name but it is nothing more than MY coloring book for Vtracs. It is a new approach to tracking historical hits and color is used to indicate frequency. You figure out how long of a history can be logged before one runs out of colors to use. This coloring book has four colors. Hard to believe you never looked at it but it was in the Vtrac for Dummies Thread. So-named by the one who started

Vtrac search engine on Lottery Post
I've broken down the current tallied votes of the poll into 3 catagories; those that would find the engine useful, those that would not, and those that do not know what a vtrac is. Because the votes from other (3) were not specific, I did not count them. There were a sizable amout of voters that weren't knowledgable in the vtrac system. As many have point out (thank you four4me for tntea's links!!), there are a lot of resources here on LP that can teach you the system should you choose to go tha

Predictions for LP for 2010 - NOT number predictions, things you see coming.
What are your predictions for LP for 2010? I don't mean predictions of what numbers will hit like over on the Predcitions page, I mean things you see happening, discussions you see coming, maybe someone here being a jackpot winner, that type of thing. I'll start: Any thread that hints of a system will get a lot of views, no matter if it makes sense or is really way 'out there'. Most people that view a poll won't vote in it. At least a few dozen new members will show up here with an i
