$100 Raffle
St Jude's raffles off about 20-30 houses a year in various cities across the country. You pretty much only hear about the raffles that are happening near your local area, as that's where the marketing/promotion is concentrated. And, realistically, you have to be local to buy a ticket too. Unless you travel to the area and/or know someone who will buy the ticket in person for you. Tickets technically can be purchased online, but it is restricted by ZIP code...online tickets can only be pur

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
science is a dizzying sport, and cannot be trusted for your personal zip code in eternity. science changes more then the depends dispenser at an old folks home. now THAT'S a fact. science is an ever evolving guess, and nothing more what time it takes to measure something isn't equal to it's ability to create itself, your just stuck at how fast it travels God said He created the light instantaneously, and physics was non existent before that magic show anyway. you act like God

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
VD calls them QPs even when the discussion is about purchased SPs vs.purchased QPs well that's another lie. being slimey is a comfortable zip code for stack now. it was never about purchased anything, you just tried that underhanded tactic to slither away from the challenge. i told you money didn't have to enter the equation to make it legit, and demonstrated several times how we could without the purchase factor , and still have a totally fair scenario. you ran from that. then wh

Interest on Lotto winnings?
RJOh, I agree with you, and banks often have partners, but you can have a lot more than $100,000 in a bank. You need to have qualifying beneficiaries however. But if you have children, siblings, etc., you can leave them each $100,000. This also helps to avoid probate because it then becomes a revocable trust, although each state handles wills trusts differently. I believe this information is available on the FDIC website. Investing $50 million is too complicated to explain in a post. If

SC residents to start receiving lottery rebate checks, even if they didn't play
South Carolina residents will be receiving rebate checks from the state lottery, even if they have never played a single lottery game before. The $50 checks are hitting mailboxes in the days to come, and the only qualification is paying South Carolina income taxes of $50 or greater. So far, 400,000 checks have been disbursed with more than 800,000 more to come by Dec. 2. What's this about? Last fall, a Simpsonville convenience store sold the winning ticket for the $1.5 billion Mega M
