I Love New York September
Yes that hit today, now, as I check these types of patterns, it seems that the fourth is only a partial hit as the 300.582 went to 256 instead of the 756. See how it reversed itself each time. With the 543 to 108 it wasn't a true straight in the 543 but the 108 reversed into the 611 but took a right turn instead of pushing through. This makes it hard to say what is going to happen next, will it go up from there into the 607-706? Tonight's draw will tell us. I'm looking for it to powder into some

Mathematics and the Lottery
correction of eariler post The below statement is worded wrong As a general rule if you are using 27% of the numbers then 27% of the draws will come from those it should read 27% of the numbers drawn will This one is also incorrect The average hits for any group that contains 27% of the 39 numbers should be .27*523=141 correction The expected numbers in each draw from this group should be .27 * 5 = 1.35. There are 10.53, (11 rounded) numbers in 27% and 462 total comb

Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
CORRECTION! I reversed my YES and NO below. Sorry. ----------Corrected Post---------------- You're forgetting, you gave your software away to 40 disciples. Aren't they up to speed yet? BTW, based on an earlier remark of yours, you seem to be saying that after throwing out all the sets that don't have 5 or 6 unique digits, without further filtering, you would be forced to bet on all the thousands remaining. So, are you then telling us that if one were to run a simulation that r

Pens or pencils?
I have a real method for this. I always use a blunted (meaning no sharp point) #2 pencil. This is the type of pencil you would normally try to write with (but feel that it really needs sharpening) It works great for lottery tickets. Covers the selection area just right. Hope I explained that OK. Using a pencil...gives you an opportunity to make a correction if you mark wrong numbers. I use a good eraser and can usually get away without re-doing the card. Main reason I never use a
