Record powerball lottery winner reflects on sad life
Why on earth would you feel sorry for jack whittaker? because he has ( or had ) 314 million dollars? Feel sorry for me because I do NOT have 314 million dollars. Yet.
You reap what you sow. Should you feel bad that he got robbed a few times? Maybe, until you find out he was robbed at strip clubs. Not the kind of place where good people hang out.
The thing you need to realize is you CANNOT change your morals just because you win the lottery. He may or may not have been a moral person

Maryland Mega winner believes in magic
Jim,
Let me be clear. I am thrilled to death to see people win the lottery. I love it! But when I see people like Bunky acting like an idiot...BEFORE...he's validated his ticket let alone claimed his prize I tend to believe he's already going down the wrong road and...THAT...I hate to see.
You say there's no evidence that he won't invest his money wisely. Good grief Jim he's buying cars, holding court and talking about investing in a reiki healing center/tea shop/wiccan learning cente

What would you do if you had the winning lottery ticket BUT.
Thanks for all your posts,so far folks. I have been getting a lot of input
Where exactly on this forum should I go and have a look at to research my main topic of Proxy Representation/ Claiming Anonymously in NON-Anonymous state?
As I may have intimated before, I am a paranoid chaser of lottery fortune. I want to be able to have all my ducks in a row. I have a very nasty affliction called being a doormat and as time goes on it seems all I seem to look forward to is how to be a better

Setting a trust for anonymity: how does it work?
In what research I have done, the best vehicle seems to be a personal property trust . If you feel the need to be prepared, you need the document and to have it notarized.
Books on the subject might be helpful at this stage, just to know what you are looking at, you don't need a winning ticket to form a trust...
What I have seen done in the past... trust formed to claim the ticket, an attorney is hired to cash it in... named in the trust as a Trustee . The lawyer will provide the lotte

im in TROUBLE
Dawn,
I invite you to consider the following:
a) Find a certified addictions counselor on your insurance plan (call the 800# on your card); if you do not have insurance like 46 million Americans in this country, locate and call the local community mental health center in your area-- most work on a sliding fee scale or see people for no cost if they are subsidized by grants
b) Identify your triggers
c) Attend several meetings of Gamblers Anonymous [GA], learn about those wonderful 12

$13m Lotto winner having trouble sleeping
A New Zealand man is having trouble sleeping after belatedly finding out he won $13.1 million in a Lotto draw last week.
The ticket for the Big Wednesday first division prize, the third biggest win in New Zealand lotteries, was sold at a Four Square in Thames but remained unclaimed until the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, took it into a Lotto shop to get it checked.
I had absolutely no idea that I'd won anything until I went and got the ticket checked and when it went through the
