Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Darn, I knew it was too good to be true!
On the bright side, they weren't as stupid as I thought. They actually had a fund set aside for this promotion, because they knew that the rule change would cost the lottery money. It's like an advertising budget.

Mississippi Lottery triples all Cash 3 prizes for November
what's going to happen is what if select numbers are sold out
Then you might only get a 98 or 99% chance of a guaranteed profit.
The $1500 won't be taxed federally but it counts as income
Unless your marginal rate is more than 33% (in which case you probably won't be bothering to win a $500 profit here and there) you get a profit even without any deductions. If you itemize you get to deduct 90% of what you've spent, so winning $1500 only results in $600 of taxable income. At a mar

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
So when a red ball was drawn and they did another drawing, it caused you to lose? That is a weird promotion. The regular drawing is a winner, they do a second drawing, so your original win gets canceled? Come on, that is not how it works.
Systems are useless and cause you to make irrational conclusions like this.

Michigan Lottery announces Bonus Draws Daily 4 promotion
Of course you don't have any proof. That's because what you wrote is false.
Paying you 20% more on a winning ticket does not make the game harder to win when they're not changing the numbers matrix. You pick 4 numbers, with some type of bet (straight, boxed, etc.), and they pick 4 numbers. A match wins whatever amount, plus 20% in the promotion. Your chances of winning are the same.

Powerball
Still waiting to hear his net worth since he is so money obsessed.
And did the boy wonder just admit he was trying to gun the lp member promotion level with this bizarre thread???? Never seen any lp member do something in that manner. Omg! I cannot imagine how anyone can have so little going on in their own life that they obsess on their lp member status. So sad.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
As we pointed out in the DC 5 Lottery needs to be audited immediately. The same thing that happened to Tennessee in 2007 Thread - https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/358919/8128587
This event just happened to occur at the same time as a promotion going on in April.
Coincidence?

Interesting this Singles Only event just happens to occur during a promotion going on in April.
The Singles Only event began 2026-03-30 Evening Draw and has not picked any other box sets since.
My Scammy Senses are Tingling.

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
You are so correct about Mega Millions. Powerball seems to build up faster vs. that measly $10 million more for MM between drawings.
KY lottery still has a promotion that if you buy $10 MM on one ticket, you get a free $2 Powerball. It ends when MM reaches $300 million.
Asked the clerk yesterday about the Powerball ticket sitting way back there. She said it is $17 with PP/PB for a few draws. Said person probably forget about it. She came home with me for safekeeping!

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
In this thread we will discuss how to calculate your odds of winning a draw game if you buy more than one ticket.
Any lottery's website gives you the odds, but that is for one ticket.
When you buy more than one ticket, you can calculate your odds of winning simply by dividing the stated odds by the number of tickets you hold.
Let's take, for example, a Pick 2 game. Even if your state's lottery doesn't operate a Pick 2, if they operate a Pick 3 and let you bet on the front pair or bac

New Jersey Lottery brings back Green Ball promotion for extra Pick 3 drawings
One thing I miss here in KY is dollar off option. Say you bought it and 976 came in and you had 975 or 974, you'd still win the $600. As previously mentioned via FB messenger 'they' informed me that it was discontinued due to unpopularity. Sure, and I have a bridge for sale too.
Currently they have a promotion buy $10 Mega Millions @ retail only and get a 'naked' Powerball ticket worth $2 for free. The asterisk comment says ends Feb 5th or if MM reaches $300 million. That's obviously no
