Dude what are you going on and on about? Of course UK lottery winners are going to have US federal taxes taken out of their winnings before they even get their winnings. Just like it happens here in the US. The only exemption for the UK winners are state taxes. As for me, I am going to keep on buying my tickets and looking forward to seeing the new starting jackpots and how fast they will grow.

I love when she calls it measly millions It makes me laugh every time I see it. You gotta remember how the price increase was gassed up by the M.S.L.U. They said better odds, faster increases, higher jackpots. So far none of that is true. I'm doing worse since the increase. Fun race to watch. If I'm betting on which one gets caught first, I'd actually lean Powerball purely on cadence - three draws a week vs two means more chances to roll AND more chances to die. Mega's been the slow burner since the format change (1 in 290.5M vs PB's 1 in 292.2M, so basically identical odds per line now), but fewer draws per week means MM jackpots age slower. I don't know about Las Vegas and the Casinos across the country, but, is it fair to say that the World Cup being held in the US has had no impact on Lottery Sales? I think the jackpots increase has been consistent with the past before the games started. I thought when fans from around the globe come in and see our PB and MM billboards they would want some part of the pie. At least, I know alcohol sales are on another level
