Hi,I've been lurking for a while and have been entertained educated by the postings.Please can someone help me with the following: I am looking for an Excel formula that will generate a list of all possible triple combinations of a 49 number draw. Secondly if someone can provide a formula that would enable me to determine the frequency of repetitive triple combinations in my lottery data.I have a lottery table with all lottery results in (Columns B:G), 300 rows. I would appreciate any help you

Mike,I see your plight when trying to compute the standard deviation using Excel. As you already know, Excel uses an unstable numeric algorithm to determine the standard deviation in a set of data. Not to mention a round-off error.Not relying on the flawed algorithms in Excel. I have devised my own method for computing the standard deviation of both small and large sets of data in the 3 and 4-Digit Lottery. I hope you will understand and respect my decision not to share my methods.The results
