It was another Fortune Cookie!
Here is a $100,000 from TN's story: Selena and John Shaffer were all smiles as they arrived bright and early at the Lottery s Nashville Headquarters to claim their prize on June 20, 2005. The Shaffers, of Old Hickory, TN matched five of the numbers from Sunday s Powerball drawing and won $100,000. Amazingly enough, the couple had been playing the same lucky numbers from the back of a saved fortune cookie slip for the past three weeks. Selena, who is a Publix employee, says she had a co-worker ch

Fortune cookie bet made Powerball lottery players rich
I'm going to take this in a bit of a different direction. I saw this story posted on msn.com today. This story is big news?????? This happened a month and a half ago. This another illustration of how far behind the ball the main stream media is.As for the the fortune cookie method. I don't think it would be too smart for people to out and start playing fortune cookie numbers. I think it would be extremely odd for another fortune cookie number to hit again anytime soon.

Florida man wins $10M lotto jackpot with fortune cookie numbers
A Florida man who won a $10 million lottery jackpot claims the lucky numbers came from a fortune cookie. Richard Davis, 66, of Boca Raton, said he only occasionally plays the lottery, using the same five sets of numbers one for each time he visited the eatery that came from fortune cookies he received from a North Carolina restaurant, he told the Florida Lottery. Out of the five tickets he bought recently, he learned one was the winner of the Florida Lotto game jackpot at a Publix grocery

Fortune cookie gives Florida player a lucky break
Yes, it would have been nice if the lottery winner posted all six of his numbers that was on his fortune cookie slip but he was not obligated to do so. The story was posted just to let everyone know that, yes, one can win the lottery using numbers on the back of their fortune cookie slip. That was the nice and or do the right thing as you put it

The Fortune Cookie strikes again !?!
It has to be more than just coincidence to get 21 second prize MM winners in CA. alone. I remember several years ago during a PB draw that over 90 second prize winners in 2 states won with numbers that were distributed on a fortune cookie strip. I find it real interesting that there were 68 seconds with only 46 numbers in the Megaball field. That means there had to be MULTIPLE 5 + 1 tickets amongst the other 45 available numbers. If there really was another Fortune Cookie strip floating

Hurley's numbers pay off for 'Lost' fans
There were many lottery experts making predictions about what the winning #'s would be. Looks like Hurley knew more than any of them. Reminds me of that POWERBALL fortune cookie story a couple of years back where there were dozens of 2nd place winners based upon the fortune cookie.

Do you believe in fortune cookie??
Several years ago Powerball had about 100 people win the second prize in 1 drawing. At that time, I believe it was worth 100k to win the second prize and 100 people winning was completely unheard of. When ask about their numbers the 100 winners had played the numbers from a Fortune cookie. The cookie had 5 of the 6 numbers listed in it correctly. So some good results have come from playing Fortune Cookies. But I personally have never played the numbers from a cookie.
