I'm new here, but I get what you're saying tho. I read this thread w/interest...
Religion, politics, and the like, sure can arouse inflammatory comments...I know these are quite passionate subjects in my household, for sure!
We were raised Christian..But when I went off to college, things got a little hairy , per se........
When our Sociology teacher got done w/the Religion Chapter...well, let me put it this way, I did not then do not now, view religion in the same light..

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered

Fact: 20,000 kids die everyday
Fact: Religions of all sorts, not just Christianity create wars that only produce mayhem, suffering, and death.
Fact: Anyone who believes that their religion is superior to the other tens of thousands of religions, sects, denominations, Deities, and so on, needs to be evaluated. Sorry If that sounds harsh, but I believe you wrote that unbelievers were gutless cowards.
Hey Ridge, you may think I'm picking on Chris

So, what would say or think of those the crack the code of the Matrix?
IT IS RELEVANT if people are trying too push those beliefs off as ABSOLUTE TRUTH and that goes on today in our society with religion and politics

Arkansas Lottery scratch tickets, logo revealed
I agree. And, while I'm not anti-religion by any means, I also tend to agree with the poster who suggested that the reason for the prominence of the scholarship stuff is to placate religion-based anti-lottery sentiment in Arkansas.
I have lived in Arkansas for more than twenty years. One of the reasons it has taken so long for Arkansas to get its own state lottery -- and after several previous attempts, some of which were halted by reasons so transparently contrived it was laughable -- is tha

Good habit or Bad habit?
Religion has little to do with winning. The thing that all winners have in common, religious or not, is they bought a ticket.

I don't subscribe to any organized religion, so I don't have that problem. It started with my parents, whom had to jump through hoops to find a church that would marry them because they came from two different faiths. They did attend church for a while, then they had a pastor who tried to tell everyone how to vote in an upcoming election, which didn't help them.
My family didn't attend church, and other kids would tell me you can't get to heaven if you don't go to church, which my parents
