Gary,
I'm not sure that we can talk about any best settings for a game. The generated sets are random which means that one day same settings can give us a winner and the next play we will have nothing. If it were the full wheel then perhaps backtesting might help a bit.
The program runs very smoothely and is fun to play with.

Neural Net Lottery Picker
I will now try to predict picks based on draw order of the numbers on the lottery.
I don't have enough data to do a backtest, so I will create ten picks for the next saturday lotto draw.
I will use the best settings based on earlier backtesting on the saturday lotto.

Sum 5 (like today's mid) triggers 46 pair. (49)
Sum 5 doesn't happen often, but this was true in my backtesting, finding several examples.
Good luck!

However there's one thing I do not do ever. I do not fill in the last position of lexie. Never.
It can and many times it does kill all the rest. Leaving it empty gives us more latitude in case some extra filtering is necessary. We can easily track its effect backtesting setups. The point is that the number of lower prizes falls down so much it is not worth it.

Pick 4 Class Florida
Wow waaaay cool! I have read the FL numbers forward-backwards and in between but I have never looked at pairs in that manner. They are actually really consistent. I am still backtesting but thus far it appears that nearly every number has offered a repeat pair [one or more] within 3 or less draws. Of course at issue is that every winning number--least with 4 unique digits-- offers 6 pairs. [doubles=4 pairs etc etc] However, the closer a repeat pair is to the origins/last winning draw-- the more

This is the name of this forum, I think everyone is capable of backtesting the systems themselves.
Nobody has to prove anything to anyone from what I see...

since you are doing past draws I would recommend backtesting
go to calendar and put in first of month draws 1-10th in far right
then start testing 11th draw in box to the 21st don't change the 10 draws in far right
that way you can see if hits come in that 10 day span
