Huge theft became too big not to notice
By Kate Northrop
An employee at a Florida Lottery retailer was arrested after admitting to stealing an egregious number of lottery tickets totaling $300,000 in value.
Miami police apprehended a convenience store manager after he was ousted for his massive $300,000 lottery ticket theft.

2026 lottery headlines you hope to see
Exactly. Even if you are not a mega jp winner, there will always be a few people who resent the fact that you have more $ than they do (even if you worked hard for it).
People can be targeted for scams when a relative dies as well. They think you inherited a ton of $. I have had to step into scam attempts twice and once when my cousins lost their mother. This woman kept calling them and contacting them on social media claiming she was a secret child that had been put up for adoption. Her ag

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
An individual who can beat a game like pick 3, statistically beyond just being lucky, is engaging in fraud. That's not a system (since all systems are worthless), that's a crime. That someone is putting weighted balls in the machine or uploading a program for the RNG to choose numbers of their choosing (Eddie Tipton).
Without cheating, pick 3 is not beatable. The rolling jackpot games are beatable if the jackpot gets large enough and one has the resources to buy all the combinations.

Lottery Post for the Hobbyist and Serious Lottery Player
lotterologist, brah, the difference between blackjack and the lottery is that with blackjack the deck is not reshuffled with the dealt cards after after each deal. the state of the deck changes each time the dealer deals a new round, which is something you can keep track of in order to make better decisions. that is the essence of card counting. and the more decks the dealer uses the harder it is to get that small edge.
with the lottery the balls are put right back where they started after e

Lotto Texas winner sues betting company and couriers, claims he was cheated out of $100M jackpot
There you go! It's an accepted fact the lottery commission rushed terminals and pallets of paper to enable the third party couriers to complete the sale. Ryan Mindell admitted as much.
The Lt Governor made it clear he saw pallets of ticket paper and what he thought was 30 terminals (later reported as 47 terminals) and minors operating the machines in his inspection of the site.
This is why fraud is part of 2 or 3 of lawsuits filed so far.
As you say the lottery commission knew they

Texas Lottery
I really don't want to see it max, maybe just max it at 25% cash value for online, third party and app sales? Everybody should't be punished for a few people who can't follow or enforce the rules
The Texas Scorecard news site has done several articles on it. The latest is one is about the lawsuit filed by Dawn Nettles and a class of players against IGT, the former lottery director, and a lottery site for fraud. No, the lottery site is not Lottery Post
Apparently the lottery site placed

I took it upon myself to break this down for people so they can see exactly what I'm talking about with this scam sheet you're running. You have 4 TTT boxes on your sheet...
Box 1- 7 digits which equals 35 combinations without the doubles
Box 2- 7 digits which equals 35 combinations without the doubles
Box 3- 8 digits which equals 56 combinations without the doubles
Box 4- 9 digits which equals 84 combinations without the doubles
So in total with all 4 boxes you're using

Lotto Texas winner sues betting company and couriers, claims he was cheated out of $100M jackpot
Sort of reminds me of when the Iowa Lottery and the MUSL were sued by Larry Dawson, who won a $6 million Hot Lotto jackpot several months after Tipton rigged draw. Dawson later received a $1.5 million settlement from MUSL.
Had a group known as Rook TX not spent almost $26 million to buy to buy nearly every number combination
The only way any wager on any drawing can guarantee winning is by purchasing every combination. What really makes this lawsuit bizarre is it's claiming they would
