thoughts on lottery syndicates
......gonna need a lot more than that, That made me laugh for no apparent reason it's a valid point - but again it only takes one ticket to win. If they buy just the $2 with no powerplay or double chance if available, then that 20*2 = $40 every draw. I would be interested to know how many members are in the syndicate and how much they contribute. For some silly reasons I have always had the notion that lottery syndicates not the office ones buy like $10,000 or more worth of tick

New Jersey Lottery will begin selling tickets online
I have a huge s--t eating grin reading this just now. Todd Kate...thought of you guys IMMEDIATELY and perhaps all your stories about buying on-line in other states woke them up a bit. That is a myth that brick and mortar stores will suffer. Like I've said for years in Kentucky you can't buy the same type of scratch tickets like in the store, they have totally different ones for that. When other states see how much the consumers LIKE this convenience they may too adopt t

Lucky winners/Lucky retailers
Wow, Kalamazoo and two bars there have been lucky in the Michigan Club Keno https://michiganlottery.wpcomstaging.com/2023/08/11/portage-man-wins-record-setting-503254-club-keno-the-jack-prize-from-the-michigan-lottery/ I also noticed how Gaylord has had two big $30 scratch wins. You can't tell me that these places sell that many tickets that they should keep winning. Nope, this is Miracle Mile stuff and will probably end soon. Otherwise too many people will st

No More Self Pick Play Slips Accepted
I usually use the replay function but after reading the comments here, filled out a play slip with the three pick 4 combos each. The options on the slip are day or evening , how many drawings , future play, type of bet and for how much. I checked evening, straight, $1 on one slip and evening, box, and $1 on the other. Had no problem and the clerk mentioned the store policy is not to try and play MM and PB call bets; said there were too many mistakes and those tickets can't be canceled. Anot

No More Self Pick Play Slips Accepted
Retailers can also cancel any pre-printed tickets That seems unlikely since they can't cancel tickets that are printed in error. they sell. Call me crazy, but that seems even more unlikely. Maybe you meant to throw a don't in there? cashiers in metro Detroit were printing the tickets and then cancelling them and pocketing the money You'd think that having the canceled tickets would be a requirement, even if the lottery only spot checks them once in a while. The pain of kee

Lotto Jackpot Questions
Question 1) Let's say for example, I bought two tickets from a state lotto game such as the MI Lottery's 6/47 game. The first ticket was a computer pick, and the second ticket, I copied the same set of six lotto numbers from the first computer pick onto a MI 6/47 play slip for the same draw. The nightly MI 6/47 draw takes place and my six lotto numbers are selected as the winning six lotto numbers drawn. After the results are tallied, two tickets matched all six winning numbers, I'm the only

Pennsylvania: 6/1 - 6/30/2023
Yes, 554 with Wild Ball 5 would win if you'd played 555 straight. But the win is only $200. Think of the will ball is a kind of insurance. You're paying an extra dollar to be able to swap the wild ball for any of the 3 digits you played, but if you need the wild ball to win, you only get a second tier prize of $200. To your other question regarding tax liability, you are correct. If you play pick3 straight with wild ball and win both the straight amount plus the wild ball amount, it's $700 w

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
No, I was referring to multiplying the book number by 30. If the first number is the book number you would multiply by 30 because in your example there were 30 tickets per book. In Michigan and a lot of other states the numbers on the bottom are xxx-xxxxxxxx-xxx with the first set being the game number and the second set being the book number and the third set is the ticket number in that particular book. So in a lot of states You multiply the overall odds by the overall number of prize
