Lotto America 2019
I found a blurb on the official Lotto America website https://www.powerball.com/games/lotto-america Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday after 11 p.m. ET at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee using mechanical machines and ball sets. It's in the Play Like a Pro section under the Where to Play tab. Good to know they're using balls and not a computer. It still doesn't make any sense why they do it in the same studio where PB is broadcast, yet they choose not to broad

Virginia Lottery
Actually, VA Lottery broadcasts their drawings to all the VA TV stations free of charge, and your local station could air the drawing if they wanted. VA Lottery no longer pays the stations to air the drawings, that's why the stations stopped airing them. Lobby your local station to start airing it again. I don't see how watching it on TV could assuage anyone's suspicion that it's a live drawing though. If you don't believe the drawings aired online is live, why would you believe one broadcast

Some upset with Pennsylvania Lottery broadcast
Pittsburghers who watch the nightly lottery drawings have been losing a little sleep lately, though it's not because of big jackpot jitters. When the multi-state Mega Millions debuted Feb. 2 in Pennsylvania, state lotto officials asked television stations statewide to broadcast it in the same time slot as the Powerball drawing, which airs Wednesdays and Saturdays. Instead of squeezing the Mega Millions into the familiar 10:59 p.m. time slot Tuesdays and Fridays, Pennsylvania Lottery offici

Lottery pre-test question?
It's my understanding in Maryland that the ball sets they will use for a drawing are picked by a computer. Leaving out the human element as to some employee favoring a specific set of balls in their locked ball cabinets. All the balls in the cabinets are calibrated to within specific weights and measurements. Before each drawing they do pretests to validate the balls and machines before the draw for auditing purposes and to insure that each machine is functioning properly. The whole process can

reThinking Lottery Systems??
.. Now, you ask, why is this important? Simple, because the number that will be broadcast is NOT the next number to fall after the last number that was broadcast interesting view SirMetro, your position seems to support something I once read. Predicting future lottery outcomes remain impossible and we must continue to rely upon chance. Now I understand why Fla. Cash3 3rd position # 7 that I felt stood a real good chance of winning in the next couple of days if not then nine d

Tennessee $1 Million Lottery Winner Will "Stay The Same"
The Tennessee Lottery's latest winner of $1 million was jubilant after winning, but says the big prize won't mean any dramatic changes in her life. Money doesn't mean that much as long as you're happy, said Ann Strong, who took home a cool million on Saturday at the culmination of the Lottery's third and final Millionaire Live! drawing event held in Memphis at WMC-NBC Channel 5 and broadcast throughout the state. We're just going to do the same ole,' same ole,' said Ann, 59, who lives in Ala

Psychic predictions (I am getting results
Regarding my pick-6 experiment, I was totally wrong for the CA SuperLotto draw of 6/26. I had 0 out of 6. However, interestingly, I prediceted the Mega number of 15 for 6/19 (actual draw 11) and 15 again for 6/23 (actual draw 18). Wouldn't you know it, I predicted 17 this time and on 6/26 the actual draw WAS 15.When you look to see future dvents, I am finding there is a calendar problem. You look into the future 3 days to find numbers you broadcast back. How do you know which broadcast you are r

Wrong lottery numbers get transmitted
A computer error caused some television stations around Louisiana to broadcast the wrong Pick 4 numbers for the Louisiana Lottery's Tuesday night drawing, officials said.A live relay transmission from Louisiana Public Broadcasting to several broadcasters inadvertently transmitted the numbers 0-0-0-0 instead of the winning numbers, which were 1-3-7-9. Lottery officials said 800 Pick 4 tickets were sold with the numbers 0-0-0-0. Due to LPB's transition to a new automated system in our control room

Massachusetts Lottery to end TV broadcasts
Starting Aug. 15 the Massachusetts Lottery will only show video replays of its in-state lottery drawings on its Web site, shifting away from the television format that players in Massachusetts have grown accustomed to since the 1970s. Ending its agreement with current broadcast partner WCVB-Channel 5, Lottery officials will host its daily drawings mid-day and in the evening at their Braintree headquarters and post the full drawing online at masslottery.com just minutes after the drawing occur
