Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday promoted the general counsel of the California Lottery to acting director.Melissa Meith, 53, a Democrat, will replace Chon Gutierrez, who retired last month. Especially in a fast-paced environment like the lottery.Every new Lottery Director likes to make their mark early on, just like the new NJ Director did with getting rid of Lotzee. Expect to see some changes coming to Georgia, especially after the new Director is officially confirmed in the position. (The new Director is still temporary .)
