Have you seen the Commercial where a guy sits down next to a woman on a bus and gives her the same type of spiel? The guy is dressed like a bum and I believe he shows her a crimpled check from a foreign bank and asks to use her account to cash it. The idea is that if these scams were presented in person, people wouldn't even blink an eye and walk away. Is This For Real?
I just recently receive an e-mail from THE NATIONAL LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL PROMOTIONS/PRIZE AWARD in the UK notifying me that I have won the lottery. Now, I have received other e-mails telling me the same thing. For instance from the Golden Gate Lottery. I checked with the BBB and was told that the Golden Gate Lottery was a scam.
