Have you ever wondered why many lottery retailers are owned by members of certain racial minorities?
It really doesn't bother me that much at all. It is just a point of curiosity more than anything else. I had made that observation, and wondered why that is the case. I was just looking at Georgia laws relating to the lottery, and I came across this, and it pretty much solved the mystery. Best way to buy?
Last year I ran a pool at work that had a full pack of $5 NY Lottery scratch off tickets as the top prize. (100 tickets were included in the pack which was wrapped in clear cellophane.) When I purchased the entire pack of tickets, the big thing I learned was that the tickets had to be activated (by the retailer) because if they weren't, any prizes won could not be claimed. Good morning, everyone. Haven't been on here since Dec. 18th, mainly because nothing exciting has been happening. Had, it seems, a four month 'break' from chemo...except for blood work every 3 weeks. Had a Cat-Scan a month or so ago. The lungs are getting no worse while the adreanal glands do show a few hot spots. Resumed a new treatment schedule last week. A different drug only once every two weeks. I can live with that. How long? Don't know, but I consider this a small victory. Let me quick
