It really doesn't bother me that much at all. It is just a point of curiosity more than anything else. I had made that observation, and wondered why that is the case. I was just looking at Georgia laws relating to the lottery, and I came across this, and it pretty much solved the mystery. Last year I ran a pool at work that had a full pack of $5 NY Lottery scratch off tickets as the top prize. (100 tickets were included in the pack which was wrapped in clear cellophane.) When I purchased the entire pack of tickets, the big thing I learned was that the tickets had to be activated (by the retailer) because if they weren't, any prizes won could not be claimed. This is done to protect retailers. If a store was burglarized and an un-opened pack was stolen, the thieves couldn't win

Good morning, everyone. Haven't been on here since Dec. 18th, mainly because nothing exciting has been happening. Had, it seems, a four month 'break' from chemo...except for blood work every 3 weeks. Had a Cat-Scan a month or so ago. The lungs are getting no worse while the adreanal glands do show a few hot spots. Resumed a new treatment schedule last week. A different drug only once every two weeks. I can live with that. How long? Don't know, but I consider this a small victory. Let me quick
